Yes, I am aware, as I have eyes and can read. Fact remains he still spent 45 seconds with the people who waited for him at the stage door, and I've seen two other videos that were also under a minute.

Is he supposed to invite them for lunch? He talks he jokes and says thank you for coming. Nice guy.


How many of actors duck out of a side door or don't even come out most of the time? Clay doesn't disappoint.

You don't find it the least bit odd that he spends under a minute at the stage door? Literally every other performer I have EVER met has been out there for a good 15-20 minutes.

I don't doubt that Clay is a nice person, as I do not know him. But the impression he gives off is of someone who is closed-off and who really only makes an appearance with the fans because he feels he has to. Updated On: 8/5/13 at 10:09 PM

Nobody spends 15-20 minutes. He is out longer for bigger crowds but never that long.

Oliver Platt. Lauren Graham. The entire cast of Rent at New World Stages. Countless musicians I've met after concerts. ALL outside for well over half an hour, signing autographs and taking photos. I've only ever met one other artist who was less impressive with the way they treated their fans. I will not post that person's name, as it is immaterial to the topic. Just saying, this was the fastest and most lackluster stage door appearance I personally have ever seen.

That first signing video you posted, was absolutely hilarious. You can tell he didn't want to be there, signing autographs as fast as he can, and not even looking in people's eyes. You posting videos that were recorded and posted about a "lustrum" ago is not proving anything.

It proves that he goes out of his way to greet his fans. No other singer does that after concerts.

Every last one of them thanked me and the countless other fans who stood outside and waited, most of them asked my name before blindly scribbling on whatever I was asking them to autograph, and the vast majority of them also posed for pictures with me, which I will not share because you have no business seeing my personal photos.

Also, every single one of them was outside for far longer than three and a half minutes.
