Thank God someone posted this video and validated the points made in my review. I'm sure it won't wake up the Claymates who blindly love everything he does, but the things that are so glaringly obvious in this video are exactly the things I was talking about in my original post.

This ought to be fun.
Its obvious who the user is. I'm just curious how he's able to not have a screen name.
Maybe a mod hasn't taken his meds?

The video not only didn't validate your review but it showed that you didn't understand what you saw. Clay played young Joseph as naive and clueless where others have played him as self absorbed and smug. The promo said this was Joseph as you've never seen before. Keala also took a different take on the Narrator. Get over Donny's version. Clay and this cast blew it out of the water.

My guess is the unnamed poster logged I. Under a separate sock profile but accidentally used their other password.

There is no charm in Clay's performance. He certainly does not fit the way Joseph is usually portrayed as a beautiful, sexy, self absorbed, head in the sky man in the first half and Clay just isn't All these things are joseph. You don't want Donny's then look at Lee Mead's. I like it better than Donny'. Clay's is more like high school.
Clay and this cast blew it out of the water.
Not sure how you can do that with a face that looks like a middle aged lesbian & unable to show expression.
Blew it out the water???!!! Seriously!? The only thing Clay may have blown was a couple of people to get the part…
You guys are cracking me up with all of this Clay Aiken hate. BUT....to each his own. It appears that President George HW Bush and his wife, Barbara, enjoyed the show. These were posted on FB...

Donny's version was very vanilla and his vocals were just OK. Clay has set the bar for future Joseph's.

"It needed to be done. Thank you, Clay Aiken, for a ravishingly understated performance!"

Let's hope they don't trip over it.
For future Joeseph's what?
It's a photo-op, of course they look happy.
Do you think George wore his own technicolor dreamcoat on purpose? Or has his style just...ummm...evolved over the years.

Thanks for your insights, Mikers, but it's "Cain and Abel." Auto correct might have been the culprit.

Wonderful! He’s set the bar low enough that anybody could match it. Good for him!

They just announced that Clay has the highest grosses for the Playhouse in its history.
Now watch Ogunquit bring in some other Idol next year expecting the same result and being shocked when it doesn't happen.
Because he was SOOOOOOOOOOOOO good in the role or because he has a lot middle aged fans who worship at his feet? I doubt the word about town was you NEED to see Clay Aiken in Joseph because he was so good!
