I'm so happy for her to get a nomination at the Tonys. I saw her in the national tour of 'Wicked' in 2005 and she blew me away with her singing and acting. She's always been one of my favorite performers in musical theatre. Her reaction was so sweet:
"I am still weeping. I am so joyful for all involved with DROOD. Sebastian and I are driving to Baltimore and my phone keeps ringing and buzzing. Literally, right now, we are at a rest stop on the NJ Turnpike to get a car phone charger because I am about to loose battery... Obviously, I did not prepare my phone for this incredible Tuesday morning!"

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely ADORE Stephanie and her performance in Drood was nothing short of spectacular, I just did not expect her to be nominated for a leading role. Will Chase was in the show more than she was and he was nominated for featured. x)
