Congrats to Stephanie J. Block!

I'm so happy for her to get a nomination at the Tonys. I saw her in the national tour of 'Wicked' in 2005 and she blew me away with her singing and acting. She's always been one of my favorite performers in musical theatre. Her reaction was so sweet:

"I am still weeping. I am so joyful for all involved with DROOD. Sebastian and I are driving to Baltimore and my phone keeps ringing and buzzing. Literally, right now, we are at a rest stop on the NJ Turnpike to get a car phone charger because I am about to loose battery... Obviously, I did not prepare my phone for this incredible Tuesday morning!"

I was very surpised when I saw th. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely ADORE Stephanie and her performance in Drood was nothing short of spectacular, I just did not expect her to be nominated for a leading role. Will Chase was in the show more than she was and he was nominated for featured. x)

I, too, and thrilled for Stephanie. I have been a big supporter of hers for a years now. She is an incredible talent who deserves recognition for her work. Congratulations, Stephanie J. Block!!

So happy for her its about time. I really think Carolee knocked Lilla out and not Stephanie. I think if she were petitioned for featured for 9 to 5 she would have been nominated for that as well.
