"I am very passionate about this show."
I think we all sorted that out by now.
With Living on Love going to the Longacre, houses for the Visit are slim.
I am guessing either Disgraced closing and it going to the Lyceum, or as someone said in a previous thread, the Imperial with a pre-mature Les Mis closing.
I doubt Les Mis will be closing this season. It is still doing well, why would they close it? Im guessing it will be Disgraced or Mamma Mia

Les Miserables seems to have fallen out of it's Fall slump, but I'm curious to see how it will do in January once the tourists are out of town. I'm not sure if Disgraced will be closing soon, depending on its weekly nut, but it's a possibility. Seeing Mamma Mia's recent numbers though in a time when most show 's numbers tend to increase (especially a jukebox musical), I have a funny feeling that we will see it close sometime in 2015, or January 2016.
As of now, the only theaters available are:
Jacobs, Lyceum, Imperial or Belasco as it's going into a Shubert house.
So, one of those shows will close...which do you think?
I hear an announcement should be made any day now.
In order of likelihood within my non-insider's mind:
1.Lyceum
2.Imperial
3.Jacobs
4.Belasco
which show is doing the worst at the box office?

I ran into a member of the design team for The Visit early last week and they told me that at one point they had secured a theatre for spring, but then lost it, I'm not sure if that was a reference to the situation at The Imperial, as Les Miz is doing better, or something else.
I don't see a theatre opening up for this. Everything is booked, and it doesn't seem like any show in any of the theatres listed is doing poorly enough to close in time to make way for The Visit.
At this rate, it could probably end up getting postponed until next season, meaning the Lead Actress Tony Race could still be up for grabs...
I'm pretty sure it's known that the creatives and Chita feel like this season is the last chance for the musical. None of them are getting any younger.

Interestingly enough, MTI has acquired the licensing rights for MAMMA MIA! and now has a page up for it on their website, though it is restricted with release unknown. KINKY BOOTS and GGLAM also have them, though, so take that for what it's worth.
Surely the Lyceum will free up in-time for The Visit. Wouldn't there be enough time even if it stays open as scheduled?
Disgraced is still doing well right? They just needa close Mamma Mia like nowww
Disgraced seems to be running out of steam?
I really have no idea if disgraced is doing well or not. I thought it was still doing okay in the box office
The producers of Disgraced could might as well be holding out until Awards Season comes around...
I kinda hope they just wait until next season and book a theatre now
The Nederlander might be available in time for "The Visit" to open this spring.
^That's not a Shubert House!

It's coming this season for a limited run (16 weeks?)they are still dealing with theater logistics etc.
Anyone have an update regarding this? I really would love to see this, but don't know which theatre it could be placed into. Anyone have any further insight?

I know that they're not making offers to anyone to transfer from Williamstown until after they find a theatre. Hopefully that will happen sooner rather than later so that there won't have to be a lot of recasting.

So far today I've been told, by those supposedly in the know, that The Visit is going into The Booth, The Schoenfeld and The Lyceum. Now, the only one that even remotely makes sense is The Lyceum as Disgraced is only on sale till the beginning of March. The other 2 houses are booked for spring unless something has changed. I asked about it's chances of taking the Helen Hayes and was told that a show has already booked that theatre. Hopefully it will all become clear soon. Thoughts?
If the Shuberts have an agreement with the producers of THE VISIT to give them a house this season, they could execute their stop-clause on "Disgraced," forcing it to close even if the "Disgraced" producers want to run longer. That seems like the most logical move, if Disgraced lasts that long. (Like Jujamcyn recently did for Side Show/Something Rotten, reportedly.)
Now, if the replacement cast of IT'S ONLY A PLAY doesn't turn out to be as lucrative as the original cast, the Jacobs could work. Currently the run is only scheduled thru March 29. (It has the same producer as THE VISIT too)
