What do you mean by “some of you“? I’m only speaking for myself. But as Dame said I’m not seeing any comments on here that cross any kind of line.
Im done though. Clearly we are not going to see eye to eye. Hope she heals quickly and happy she addressed it."
That quote is literally on this page with who said it.

what you are now saying because now you know why, its understandable but when it was questionable its ok to attack or be even more upset is what I am now assuming from your reply so you chill out. k thanks"
Megan??? That you?"
Shouldn't you get back to caping for the loathsome Michael Riedel?

Luminaire2, thank you for taking the time to wade into the muck that is this thread to pull out those quotes at #713. Those who still claim they don't see anything wrong or extreme with them are just being willfully obtuse, which was a completely predictable outcome.
And of course, Simard hasn't said anything about her absences as far as I know, so the mob still has something to froth over.

You’re part of the “muck” of this thread.
LOL at “mob”. Yeah we are all marching to the theater with pitchforks when the box office opens.
And Mezzodiva, anything you say is negated by your obnoxious “sign off” on every single post.
WE RIDE AT DAWN!!! YOUVE BEEN WARNED, JEN SIMARD!!!
🙄
Am I crazy or did Hilty not say she was dealing with a vocal injury in her NYTimes profile a few weeks ago? It was posted in this very thread. Why are you all pretending you didn’t know?

No, you're not crazy. Yes, it was posted here (twice!). And was met with a lack of sympathy from several here about how she should have known she couldn't handle it before she took the job, and mocking the fact that she has breakfast dates with her husband as noted in the NYT profile.

Not everyone has the time to “wade in the muck of this thread” to read every single post or every single interview a performer does.
Cut some of us some slack
It was never outright addressed by the production or Hilty this transparently or formally, until yesterday.

Perhaps as much slack as some of you are willing to give performers?

Posting on this message board is not my job.
Showing up to the Lunt is Megan’s.
Regularly missing performances for 6 months (in an above the title role, while asking patrons to fork over hundreds of dollars for a ticket) without addressing it is going to spark conversation. A brief sentence in a random ny times profile is not the same thing as the statement that was released yesterday.
this exchange is going nowhere, so I’m clocking out too. This is all SO not that deep.
go take up your grievances with Sutton Ross directly.
Take a number first, though lol
Brain rotting comments stuffed with projection and misguided entitlement aside -
Dee Roscioli has posted on her Facebook and IG Story. She will be doing seven shows per week while Megan is out, and will be posting what performance she is out for each week. The other performances will be covered by Kayleigh and Natalie. Dee will be on through Saturday this week.
Dee Roscioli posted she'll be doing 7 performances a week until Hilty returns. No exact schedule, but she'll post which performance each week she's not doing. She'll be on through Saturday. I'd assume Kaleigh will be on Sunday.

Natalie has yet to go on for Madeline, right? Dee, Kaleigh and Natalie are all covering both roles, but so far they've only performed one each that I'm aware of. Will be fun to see the inevitable TikToks of Natalie as Madeline that will pop up instantly.

Natalie has not gone on yet as Madeline. Nor has Kaleigh gone on yet as Helen.
They should have said something months ago. Love how some of you are taking things that were said out of context. That is Broadway World hypocrisy, People that are horrible calling other people horrible.

Oh, BroadwayWorld, never change.
A: THESE LAZY WOMEN NEED TO BE FIRED FOR NOT SHOWING UP AT THEIR JOBS!
B: Maybe there's something going on we don't know about.
A: THEY SHOULD TELL ME! I DESERVE TO KNOW! THEY SHOULD SAY SOMETHING! I HAVE EVERY RIGHT TO JUDGE PEOPLE UNTIL GIVEN A SPECIFIC REASON NOT TO!
B: She told you two weeks ago.
A: I DIDN'T HEAR IT, THAT'S THEIR FAULT! CUT ME SOME SLACK! I CAN'T READ EVERYTHING BEFORE JUDGING SOMEBODY!
B: You could be kinder to people.
A: NO, YOU'RE HORRIBLE!

This entire post is so watered down and generalized.
The same people who posted over the last few days are not the same people saying she should be fired or who called her lazy.
Second of all, when did ANYONE say it’s Megan’s fault that they didn’t know she had a vocal injury? They just said it was never formally announced/addressed by Megan or the show outside of that profile, so it went missed.
Some of you need to learn how to read. Get over yourselves and move tf on.
I thought Megan Hilty was fabulous on the Tonys show. She'll recover in due time and come back better than ever. "That's all I have to say about that."

Simard was back. Williams was out. Understudies.org says Johanna Moise made her Viola debut.
I think that was planned, I remember seeing a notice for her debut some days ago.

No explanation from Simard for why she was out almost a week to satiate the mob. Just this in an Instagram story, sure to infuriate some, hilariously enough.
