When I've done standing room over the last few months they've always had at least 4 tickets for the $69 rush if not more. I know that yesterday when my friend went to pick up standing room tickets at 12:30pm they still had rush seats available for the evening performance. I believe the rush seats are side orchestra similar to what they give away for the lottery.
They also have started selling partial view mezzanine seats for $42 that you can buy in advance. I'm not sure how partial view the seats actually are and I've only seen the show from the orchestra but I can't imagine you miss much from the sides of the stage based off of how the production is staged.
When I went to get standing room on Wednesday a little bit before the time SGarrett's friend did, they had rush for Row L on the side for $69.
I know a few people who have gotten the $42 tickets and they were along the extreme sides of the orchestra in the front rows but they said the view was fine and you didn't miss much.
I generally prefer standing room, but I've won lotto twice and sat in the mezzanine and it's been a great view. Honestly the theater isn't all that big, I don't think there's a bad seat in the house.

I went 3 weeks ago for a Wed Matinee, got there at 9:15am 6th in line 1st person at 8:15am, Mind you i needed a single for the matinee and it was a 2 show day, they offered me 2nd row Orchestra far right for $69 or $42 standing room full view Center SR101. I took the Standing room and was pleased but the people in front of me who needed pairs got offered much better Rush options far sides in the last 4 rows of the Orchestra with a Full View. Hope this Helps :)
Has anyone had any luck purchasing the $42 partial view Mezzanine seats in advance?

I was at the Box Office on Saturday 2/8 and the person in front of me was buying some for future dates in August and September

Did you ask for a 2nd-choice seat location? Were you told "take what we say or not"?
