Good choice. Rapture, Blister, Burn and 4000 Miles were finalists.

Sorry to have missed this. I wonder if LC will consider remounting.
Wonderful show. Not entirely sure if it deserves the Pulitzer, but nonetheless, a very well-written play.

I was hoping for THE ASSEMBLED PARTIES, assuming it was eligible this year.
Finalists:
Rapture, Blister, Burn - Gina Gionfriddo
4000 Miles - Amy Herzog

So thrilled "Rapture, Blister, Burn" was recognized.

So glad to have called this one! Happy to see 4000 Miles in the finalists.
What's next after Nikolai and the Others at the Newhouse? I would be shocked if they didn't try and bring it back in some capacity.
I've heard rumors of a commercial Broadway production of DISGRACED possibly happening later in the year. Isn't a new Bruce Norris play with Laurie Metcalf set for the Newhouse in the fall?
Can someone who has seen it comment on whether or not they agree that this deserved the prize? I moronically ran to Water by the Spoonful after it won the Pulitzer and was rewarded by a steaming pile of crap. Hoping that Disgraced is a more deserving winner.

It's certainly a very good play, Matt. Far from crap. Here are my thoughts from the performance I saw. I caught it based on the Times review and was very glad I did. https://ftmyers.broadwayworld.com/board/printthread.php?thread=1052589&boardid=1
Thanks so much. I'll check it out if it makes a reappearance.
I thought DISGRACED was too obviously "set up" - to describe the dinner party scene sounds like you are about to tell a bad joke - "a Muslim man, a while woman, a black woman and a Jewish guy walk into a bar" type of joke.
Liked RAPTURE BLISTER BURN better, but thought THE BIG MEAL and THE GREAT GOD PAN were both better plays. Not to mention WE'RE GONNA DIE!
