Same book writers as paper mill. Every joke is so corny, I would have scrapped them. But that’s exactly what Disney is looking for probably.

Also curious what kind of credit Lear ends up getting, if any. It doesn’t seem like they’re going all the way back to the drawing board like Devil Wears Prada is doing.

$$$$$ might make up for not being credited. Casey's agents will not want Lear's name on that title page with any prominence, same with Mitchell/Shapiro/Devil Wears Prada. But it is interesting that much of the HERC design team from Paper Mill remains the same for Germany...
Alex Timbers probably still gets a royalty for developing and shepherding multiple workshops of FROZEN (and he was not credited).
In the film world they might get an Executive Producer and/or screenwriting credit, but things work differently in the theatre.

The CBC played the 2023 Royal Variety the other day. In a segment dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Disney besides Lion King, Aladdin, & Frozen they brought out cast members from the Papermill Hercules who did the number "From Zero to Hero." It made it seem like there might be a London production soon.
The other London shows that had numbers were Sister Act, Crazy For You, and The Little Big Things.
