Those closing night Playbills are awesome.

LOL @ Dollypop, the shows he/she named are from the mid 60s and early 70s. Back then Playbill didn't commemorate the last performances with specially designed Playbills.

I love the ACL one from 1990 and the CATS one with the one streaming tear: AWESOME.

I can't wait to see what they come up with for RENT.

Each production (NOT Playbill) would decide if they wanted to pay for the design and printing of a special edition Playbill.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I know that Beauty and The Beast and Les Miserables had closing night playbills. I know that they were mentioned before but those are the only two I can think off off the bat that did have one.

I am sure that Rent will have one as well. Playbill still has the Beauty and The Beast closing night playbill as well as the Les Miserables closing night playbill in their store so I am sure that if Rent has a closing night playbill it will be there as well.

Why would you email Playbill?

They would have no idea.

Only the production would know and they certainly wouldn't release that information.

OF COURSE IT WILL. I think it is going to have the original cast in the seasons of love line, and a picture of Jonathan Larson, Anyone have any other ideas?
