Where show?
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?
These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I don't think. I know.

Lin Manuel Miranda posted here not too long ago. He even made a comment about what some people think about his singing style.
"Noel [Coward] and I were in Paris once. Adjoining rooms, of course. One night, I felt mischievous, so I knocked on Noel's door, and he asked, 'Who is it?' I lowered my voice and said 'Hotel detective. Have you got a gentleman in your room?' He answered, 'Just a minute, I'll ask him.'" (Beatrice Lillie)

A lot of associates of Broadway stars post here. For instance, I am Tony Yazbeck's long-time dance belt.

I would imagine. If you have watched Lesli Margherita's Matilda vlog on broadway.com, she sometimes does "dramatic reenactments" of posts that were made about her on these message boards. So yes, I think they look at these boards

It's a great question, Taz. I think you've asked it before though using your other screen names. What did people say when you asked then?

Didn't Alice Ripley use to troll around on this board a few years back?

I don't know about Broadway folk, but when I worked as a super at NYC Opera, the lead singers did indeed read the boards. I remember one saying, "If the queens on the boards like us, I'm not worried about the critics!"

I raved about an accomplished composer's score on this board and within hours received a PM from him thanking me for my kind words. I responded and asked him what future projects he had in the works (which panned out) so I have no doubts that it was actually him. It made me feel bad though for some of the really negative posts that appeared in the thread criticizing his work.

I can think of at least 3 crazy instances where Bway stars read some stuff here and went ape ****.
I've heard that most of them despise this site for the comments made about them.
But I've also seen firsthand how thin-skinned and petty some of them can be.

Orfeh and Anthony Rapp sure do. Or did. Probably do.

I'm thinking of four.
I know a couple of composers who have posted here and one star under a pseudonym who hasn't posted in a long time.
