Does anyone eat at Per Se

i have no idea why you want to know this but yes.

If I say yes, is my food going to be poisoned or is there going to be glass in my drink or something?

Not sure why you are asking but several times over the years I have.

Seems a bit elitist. Do they have rush/lottery? How do they expect younger people and minorities to embrace them in the future if they don't let us eat there for free/cheap now?

I have numerous times. I'm curious as to why this particular board member wants to know. Do they want us to recommend a specific item that is on the menu?

I almost slapped an old woman there who I suspected was judging me.

But did she offer you a free meal while you were standing around the front of the restaurant? Be grateful.

You're right. I'm terrible.
But right after she gave me the meal, she said, "don't chew with your mouth open. I hate that." As if I would!

Odd the OP never followed through with the Why.

Yikes this thread has been quite the exercise in paranoia. Not sure if the Raven Symone gif got everybody into nervous mode or what. If somebody asked me if I've ever eaten at a particular restaurant, I would say yes maybe say a thing or two about it or no/not reply to the thread if I haven't. I couldn't imagine first requiring why someone wants to know. Not a bizarre thread, but some truly bizarre answers.

It's because of the identity of the poster.

Honey far from paranoia. It was an odd way to ask a question and then not come back. If I was paranoid I would wonder why Opera Ghost asked the question and then the response thinking we are paranoid came from the Phantom. Spooky. :)

It is still on my bucket list
Firebird once was until we ate there years ago. It was a disappointment. Hopefully, Per Se will not be.
Perhaps, this should be on off topic instead of Broadway

Yes, but the chef didn't sign my menu when I left and I'm sad about it. ![]()

You must have gone for lunch. He only signs after dinner.

Even when he comes out, he doesn't look people in the face. I like to go and slip Eleven Madison Park menus in the crowds for him to sign to see if he even notices.

Y'all some rich people up in here. I can't afford to use the bathroom at Per Se, let alone eat there.

I think it makes sense to ask why the question was asked. So the OP will get responses of yes and no. Then what? Paranoia has nothing to do with this. Curiosity does. In my case, mild to passing curiosity.
