Robert Pattinson? Seriously? I really hope you're joking, although I can really picture Hugh Jackman as Fredrick and Anne Hathaway as Charlotte. But Kellan Lutz, too? Can he sing? I guess you're a really big Twilight fan.
I would love a Passion revival. I didn't like the style of the sets in the original because it felt too bright. I thought I was in an art museum. I loved how the concert staging was just black and gray because, whether intentional or not, it really brought out the dark aspects and pain in the story.

Posted: 6/23/12 at 9:50amMisterMatt - like your choice of "City of Angels" and "Scarlett Pimpernall". Saw Tom Wopat in the lead role in "City of Angels" and was the first time I had ever heard him sing and was pleasantly surprised. Wonder who would be a good choice for that role now.

Radnor and O'Hara in SHE LOVES ME as they triumphed in at the Roundabout concert. It would be too much to hope for the rest of the cast as a whole, but I would hope Jonathan Freeman could at least reprise his amazing turn as the Head Watier.. Whoops - I mean Peter Bartlett (Freeman played the head waiter in the last revival and was also very good).

I would really love to see the original Michael Bennett production of DREAMGIRLS brought back to life. Im not talking a revision but the original full blown sets, costumes, staging and choreography.
I think a new generation needs to experience what we theatergoers were so fortunate to experience in the 1980s.
That recent revival at the Apollo did not cut it.

I would love to see Marin Mazzie as Sally in Follies... I would also love to see her as Rose in Gypsy.
Someday, I'd also love to see Sutton Foster as Rose in Gypsy, but not for a while yet.

I'd be curious to see if Jane Krakowski would make a good Desiree.
And a King and I revival with Kate Baldwin as Anna, of course.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.
