No. Scottsboro is looking for a commercial run. Roundabout is looking to add a show to it's season and not simply rent the space ala All About Me.

There is an interesting conflict for some. There are some Roundabout subscribers who have already seen Everyday Rapture. People like me for instance.

There is also the matter of the physical production. Unknowns like will a new set and costumes need to be built? Certainly there will need to be a new lighting design done.

What if not every actor from the prior production of Everyday Rapture is available for a remounting? More rehearsal time than 2-3 weeks would be needed.

Contracts will have to be negotiated for all of the above and then some.

Keeping these things in mind, when is the Tony cut-off?

Not really. There are several people on ATC alone that subscribe to both.

Wouldn't it be nice if Everyday Rapture could just play on the set from All About Me? No load out, no load in. Start previews April 12, open on the 29th at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre. Win a Tony Award or two.

That's not true. "When It's Time" has never been released and will be heard for the first time in the show.

I, personally, would be happy to see this show again! It will deffinatly shake up the TONY awards this year! I am worried, however, because I believe some of the performers from second stage have conflicts...but then again, there were understudies for all the roles off-broadway (except, obviously, Sherie). Still, VERY excited for this!

I just heard from a very reliable source that Everyday Rapture will officially open at the American Airlines on April 29th.

The Tony race in several key categories just got a lot more interesting.

And it's not like the show needs extensive rehearsal (or re-rehearsal, as the case may be). And it's not like the set is so massive or anything. Quite frankly, they can do it with a brick wall, a band stand from storage, and a pull down projector screen.

I'd much rather see Sherie get it over CZJ. I thought she was much better and has payed her dues in the theater.
