He won in 2003 for Individual Performance in a Variety or Comedy Program for Whose Line Is It Anyway? He was nominated in the same category in 2001 and 2002
Maybe he wasn't hired because of his name....but because he gave a killer audition. Who knows.
If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it?

yeah, I really hope his attendance is better in KINKY BOOTS then in CHICAGO. Maybe the show should add in a standby for Brady?
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

also, WHOSE LINE IS IT ANYWAY? was renewed for another season. LMAD is taping their new season now. None of the press releases say how long Brady is with the show, but WLIIA might start taping in January(in Los Angeles). So maybe Brady only has a 8 week contract??

In a selfish way, I'm glad KTP isn't going back to Broadway. That means I can see him on tour when he comes to my town! But I read that Billy's last night is Nov 20. Wasn't announced earlier this year that his contract was up in January 2016?
I don't think it's the best choice creatively but I think Kinky Boots was heading for a troubling fall/winter box office and this stunt casting will probably help
