In many ways yes. The bloom is definitely off the rose. The grosses, while fine, are sagging. The energy of the company is waning and now that the Tony buzz has worn off and the love isn't as effusive, the show is showing its weaknesses. People aren't as enraptured and the company is sleepwalking.
Is it really, though?

the show is still doing well, so I would panic so soon. Brady will help the show through the winter & will get through the spring & summer with someone else as Lola. I think the show runs until the end of 2016 at least. Whenever the show closes, I just hope Porter can return for its final weeks.

Brady to return to KINKY BOOTS on March 5
for 8 weeks, through April 26.
The show's grosses have been kind of low. J. Harrison returns on May 1 and possibly the show closes by Labor Day?

It's interesting to read the stories about the show being on it's last legs back in 2015.

curious how Brady's attendance has been this time? Has he missed many or have any scheduled absences?

Judging by the grosses, yes. Not Urie grosses ($1 million+) but certainly good enough to make some $$$.
