Entertainment Tonight will be airing a sneak preview of "Nine" tomorrow, May 13 at 7 pm. They showed a quick, 20-30 second fast montage today. Needless to say, it looks absolutely stunning. Get excited, kiddies!
Great news, I'll have to tune in for that.
Oh I can't wait!
I wish I could find the clip they showed today!
Yesssss...!
Here's the teaser trailer!

I just saw the preview. I know nothing about Nine, but from what I saw, it looks good and the style is similar to the movie version of "Chicago."
Thanks for the update. It's on at 7pm here in LA.
Like "Chicago," huh? Don't tell Roscoe. He has such baggage and issues about that movie. Ha, ha...
Damn! Forgot to watch. Hope someone puts it on Youtube.

The preview is on YouTube. Just type in "nine preview fergie".
The musical numbers look just like the ones from CHICAGO, I guess we'll have to watch the movie to judge whether this is a good thing or not. Overall, I really liked the look of the scenes they showed, the women all look fabulous and Daniel Day-Lewis looks pretty great as well.
Well that preview made me very happy. Fergie surprisingly sounds fantastic singing "Be Italian". I also really enjoyed the trailer StageManager2 posted, even if I was kind of confused at first. Both 9 and Nine look pretty impressive, although I wish I didn't have to wait until November to see the latter.
Fergie sounds fantastic, and the movie looks beautiful already.
And I for one don't mind the similarities to Chicago, if this movie can have half the success, that would be great.

I don't know how I feel about them taking out the chorus of "la-la" during "...as if it may become your last.
I hope the film retains the unspeakably gorgeous overture.
It was just on here in Denver. That was Fergie singing? She sounds really good!
I was just going to ask who sang "Be Italian." Regardless, she sounded off the hook! And StageManager2, that was rude. But funny. I'm looking forward to both films...but I'd expect that "9" will only be nominated under the Animated FIlm category, if it enjoys critical success. You never know, however.

And voila! The film's artwork is finally revealed:
Oh wow, it looks GREAT! I can't wait for the movie.
Those numbers did look like they were from CHICAGO, ray. Right down to the Fosse "hands" move.
But Fergie sounded fantastic and it's my favorite musical, so I still wet my panties watching it.
It looks fantastic. LOOKS. Unfortunately "NINE" suffers from a dreadfully boring score. There's a reason it was basically forgotten. Most of the world hasn't listened to it before and there is not one memorable in the bunch. Yes, I saw the Banderas revival and each song was more boring than the last. As soon as the movie star left, it crashed. I'm sure there will be ones here that absolutely love it from 20 years of listening to the Original Cast Album and will defend it, good entertainment is supposed to be enjoyed, but this movie needs glitz and glamour to deflect the weakness of the music.

Thanks for that! The trailer looks great and everyone looks good. Fergie sounded beautiful.
Like I've stated, I don't know anything about "Nine." The only song I've heard in the past is "Be Italian," and now it's being featured on the trailer and the preview on ET last night, so is the song the show's signature tune?

Saw the bit online. Marshall works his derivative magic on a third rate musical based on one of the great masterworks of cinema. NINE looks like CHICAGO 2, but without the slightly mitigating circumstances of the brilliant score and book.
To be fair, I may be wrong of course. It is just a trailer, after all. I'll have to wait until I see it. I wouldn't have thought David Fincher capable of producing ZODIAC, or Paul Thomas Anderson of producing THERE WILL BE BLOOD. NINE might be a terrific movie. Less promising projects have turned out very well indeed.
