Eric Anderson to Replace Danny Burstein as Harold Zidler in MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL

Great casting.

I wonder what Burstein is doing next? Could it be one of the non-Black roles in SKIN OF OUR TEETH? Or Ziegfeld in FUNNY GIRL? Or of course film/TV/relaxation.

He'd be a great Mr. Antrobus.

Actors love stage time. I had a friend who played Grizabella during CATS original run and she hated sitting in her dressing room in full make-up and costume for her 4 minutes in Act 1 and her almost 10 minutes in Act 2. She HATED it as she loved the manic pace of playing a lead role always on stage.

^I was aware of that fact! Happy to see him getting back on the boards so quickly! Hopefully Danny doesn’t stay away for too long.

I would operate under the assumption that he would be performing in those shows - barring exigent circumstances such as illness, injury, or show closure. (Though I hope so see him as his understudy, Bobby Daye, was so drained of energy and pizzazz)

I saw on another thread that Tam Mutu mentioned 4/24 was a popular end of contract date for the original cast during a live. No idea if that includes Aaron, but I scheduled my family to see it 4/23 just in case. I hope they get to see him!
