No matter what I do, Windows Media will not read the file.
I think it's a MAC curse.

Yeah, Lari, apparently you can't play the video on a Mac. Something about protected files... I'm not really sure. Hopefully somebody will figure it out! There are enough smart computer people around these parts!
I would ask my house. I mean, this campus is full of hackers of all sorts.
... But I think they'd all be too lazy to help. XD
I love how there's that sort of homage to the original staging with Mimi on her balcony climbing over the bars and stuff....makes me happy
So does Idina crawling on a pool table.

Maybe you can find somebody who has a computer that WILL play it, Lari!
Oh my God.
*cries*
Oh. My. God.
Because tonight couldn't get any better.
I tried.
I have no luck. Half the house has macs.

I have my fingers crossed that it'll be up on the blog soon, in Quicktime format!
Yay, Emcee got it to play!
And now I can't stop!

I have to say, I'm a little concerned for our friend Marquise's health. Where is he and why hasn't he been drooling all over this video and thread?
*sends paramedics*
So it looks like there's no way to play this on a Mac so far? Am I actually going to have to watch VH1 and hope it's on some time?

This is soooooo hot.
Well, persistence pays off. Sure, I'm going to be dead in classes tomorrow... but I FINALLY got the damn thing to play. Heh. 'Magine. And all that time all I had to do was update my windows media player. *blushes*
And WOW is all I can say there. Simply amazing. Perhaps a touch spoilery towards the end, but not too bad... Also lovin' the twin spins of Collins and Angel during what I'm assuming is "Santa Fe" (based on the Collins video blog we saw last week).

Well... apparently the kit kat klub is some sort of strip club where the dancers are rock stars... seriously, where is that club?
Nomi Malone is certainly jealous.
Okay, now that I've let go of my hopes for a seedy lower east side club, I have to say I'm pretty damn impressed.
The film looks great. I CAN'T wait to see it- because well it looks like its gonna rock.... it's going to take critic by storm im sure....
The riot looks freaking amazing...
but the best part for me was seeing Mimi come through the window- finally we get to actually see what we've been wondering the logistics of what we've been seeing on stage. (the blocking looks like columbus stayed VERY true to the stage version)
Any thoughts on the upscale ness of the club?
"She's all thrust they don't teach that in any classes."
PS- where are the blue pants someone mentioned earlier in this thread?

The blue pants are in the Happy New Year scene! :)
MimiImFurst- Wrong show- Kit Kat Club is Cabaret
Mmm...blue pleather pants!
this is the first thing I can't do on a Mac that I actually care about!
damn it.

I was very impressed.... Rosario was the one I was very very leary about. Yeah... she cheets on a few notes, but overall very solid. Nice montage of the other acotrs as well.
