It's on in an hour here. Excited to see her perform. Considering none of the "reviews" on this site have been remotely helpful or enlightening.
Did she sing Poor Unfortunate Souls?
Yes, she did. I didn't see it but I just talked briefly to a friend who did and said it was "painful."
Was it that bad?

I don't know if it can be much worse than her bum note at the Tony's last year... ZING!
No, sorry to bring that up again. I love me some Faith Prince but she has some issues. And what was that with the teleprompter at the end? Hm.
She sounded great to me. Her lower register sounded fantastic, contrary to what some expected. She didn't belt the last note though.
N2N will be performing tomorrow!
I didn't see her on TV just now but I saw the show on Saturday and thought she was atrocious. Her acting is boring and her voice just didn't hold up with the music.
Faith Prince today, N2N tomorrow... Apparently I need to start watching The View more often!

And believe that it's REAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAL!
It's on in about 45 min today...
but I have NEVER been a fan of Faith Prince
I just don't get what the big deal about her is, there is so much better talent out there (IMHO)
If you had seen her in Guys and Dolls, you would know what the big deal was.

It just went off here. I thought she was fine. I think it would have been a bit better if Floatsum and Jetsum were included as she "speaks" to them during the song. (It has been almost 2 years since I saw it. They were in that number weren't they?) I didn't notice a teleprompter at the end.
edit: I posted right before the end of the show. I assume the telepromper thing was Ms. Prince saying "enjoy the View".
They must have edited it. At the end she had trouble reading "take time to enjoy the view."
I love Faith Prince, amazing in so many shows especially GUYS AND DOLLS.
But, that performance on the VIEW was totally lackluster and unimpressive.
I thought she did a nice job.
It wasn't terrible but it was great. She got a little behind in the music, but nothing drastic. It was okay.
I hope it pops up on Youtube.
I agree with PalJoey - if you had seen her in Guys and Dolls you would know what the big deal is. Especially compared to the mess that's now performing in the recent revival.

The poor thing was horribly hampered by that costume.
I thought she was fabulous.
I thought she was fabulous.
That was really bizarre. I actually thought she sounded fine, but whoever had the idea to save money by having "Poor Unfortunate Souls" be a solo instead of including Ariel, Flotsam and Jetsam should be ashamed. It was very awkward.
I thought she sounded fine but it was a little awkward out of context, regardless of whether people know the song.
