Beyonce' has never had plastic surgery...she just has those good ole lookin' 'black' don't crack genes...
Beyonce' will never need surgery...have you seen her beautiful mother. Now just for that dumb statement: here is a tribute to the inconquerable and one of the most beautiful black woman in the world:

Listen, I do not hate Beyonce at all. But we must admit that she has been done before with more truth. Long ago there was the great Lena Horne who, in addition to being beautiful by all criterion of western beauty, was supremely talented. Horne was most beautiful, in the class of the greatest of singers, a great actress, a fine dancer, a civil rights leader, and on and on and on...
Unlike Horne, Beyonce is severely overrated...and the product of massive publicity campaigns, coupled with soft pornography overtures. Thankfully the great Lena Horne was never subjected to THOSE realities...and it must have been the unquestionable integrity of her authentic talent that sheltered her. In the words of Miles Blackman; "It's gotta be the shoes!" HA!

Comparing Fantasia to Monica and Vivian Green is insanity. Fantasia is real soul...true soul with power and grit to her voice...You are talking about radio friendly singers who are not in Fantasia's league vocally...and never will be.

Also, it's funny how you people are now hyping up Beyonce in Dreamgirl. When there were rumors of her casting, many were against it(I said she was perfect for years now). Now, everybody is on the Beyonce as Deena train and against Fantasia. If she is cast, all of you will deal with it.

Just from some of you alls lude responses it goes t show Fantais is the perfect choice for Effie. Aslo theres no need to compare to Beyonce she's not vying for the Deanan role. ffie is all about grit, passion, a churchy voice and a great voice. Fantasia has all of the before mentioned. Fantasia vs the weight issue. She is a dark skinned unconventional Beauty, that will do! She's not what is mainstream especially in today's concept od beauty which for sisters normally means light skin, thin noses, long hair. Lasty again she seems to be able to act from the director's own words. This is not a broadway show this is a movie, and either way she would pullit off. This is a broadway story but it is not that show its new and comtemporary. She more than fits the bill, and I'm pretty positive if she does land the role she will probly more than likely give the best, and most compelling (acting and vocals) performance in this movie. When she gets the Golden Globe nod for this shut your filthy mouths! No harshness really meant but some of these post are utterly rediculous. - A fan of stage, film and music....and also a proud Fantasian - Kaire, God Bless.

I'm here because she's being bashed for no other reason than people don't like her . she's screen-tested for a film role and so called film snobs are bashing her because she's not Jennifer Hudson or Beyonce or an unknown , and anyway who are you to tell anyone that their views can't be aired here , at least i'm not being offensive to anyone . I've heard some dumb things and this is one of them. Fantasia is seriously overrated as a singer. And the funny thing is..her song "Truth Is" sounds like a reject from Monica's last album "After The Storm."
