I LOVE overtures!
My favourite is CANDIDE's. By far.

Posted: 2/12/09 at 4:48pmI've also always been a fan of tiny little overtures that get cut from the recording such as AIDA, THE SECRET GARDEN, HAIRSPRAY. I'm not saying they are great but I've always liked them.
