No question about it, Candide has the most amazing overture, 2ndly would be Gypsy, the trumpet solo in that is just as amazing...

I've also always been a fan of tiny little overtures that get cut from the recording such as AIDA, THE SECRET GARDEN, HAIRSPRAY. I'm not saying they are great but I've always liked them.
