Simply as the title says, do you have any Favorite Scenic Designs of the 2019/2020 Season? Even a particular inspired or breathtaking moment counts in my book.
Moulin Rouge! - it is just a feast for the eyes.
Company - it is just so clever, smart, sleek, sexy, and full of surprises.

That Company set is sleek and sexy and exciting
The set for the Little Shop revival is amazing, I really adore the dentist's office

Arnulfo Maldonado's work on The Underlying Chris was just wonderful
I'm already excited for Flying Over Sunset, but I am more excited to be seeing a new musical at the Beaumont. No idea of what the set would look like or anything, even in the blurry sneak peeks from the rehearsal footage.

^So intrigued with this one! In an interview Tom Kitt kept reiterating that "it is amazing the way the set moves...and we're using technology that has never been seen on a broadway stage". Those words all raised my eyebrows.

While Moulin Rouge's set is definitely jawdropping, I think my favorite has to be Company's and how well it was able to integrate into the show
I agree! Moulin Rouge is great and pretty interesting, but Company just kept surprising me and keeping me engaged with the design.
I like big sets as much as the next person, but my favorite was The Inheritance due to its' simplicity. It had that huge table that would raise and lower but whenever that back wall opened up to reveal its' secrets (especially the first time with the miniature house) the effect was stunning.
The Japanese production of Antigone that played at the Armory had stunning scenic design. One of my favorites of the season.
I really liked the set design for Rose Tattoo, though the LED screens kind of ruined it.
Sound Inside was one of my favorite uses of scenic and lighting elements, though the design itself wasn't necessarily a favorite
