My first fave show (from age eight to age eighteen) was Les Mis. First Bway obsession, and all.

Strange. I thought the post title was asking for people to say their favorite shows; and not to talk badly about other people’s favorite shows.
Why yuck someone else’s Yum?
But add me to your list of worries, because Mamma Mia! is my favorite show as well.
Dude, that person hasn't posted in 12 years so I doubt they will answer you. This thread is 21 years old but it's cute to read it. I never saw Mamma Mia! but I'm glad it's coming back for you guys that love it so much.
Fun Home.
I love that a thread like this got bumped after 21 years!
It seems the big, often favorites are Rent, Les Mis, and Phantom of the Opera, and that makes sense. Also Sweeney.
My favorite is predictably Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella because that is based on my favorite story of all time. The music just thankfully is also good. Second for me is Into the Woods, and third is Wicked. Maybe Wicked should count more since it has no bias. Then again The Wizard of Oz is my second favorite story. I long for a R+H Cinderella with a great, perfect book. The 2013 Broadway one was pretty good, though.

Now THAT is funny! I had never seen this post, and started from the beginning only to get annoyed with the crappy attitudes and then skipped to reply before reading the rest. My mistake!
That being said; Mamma Mia! was my favorite show in 2004 and remains as such in 2025! So happy it’s coming back to its former home, even if it’s just the tour set.
