So I might try to catch this before it closes. Anyone have any idea how popular the rush has been recently? Could I get there around 8:30-9 and still get one? Or should I get there earlier?

I got tickets at 11am on a Friday earlier this month after an unsuccessful attempt of rushing The Color Purple. They usually have tons of rush tickets available. I'm pretty sure you could show up an hour or so before the show and get seats. More than half of our row was empty. The show definitely is a must see and the rush seats are really good. Rear orchestra, full view.

Went to the box office on Saturday the 10th of December at around 12pm, and got two singles for rush tickets. I think those were the last two, and the theatre was very fully for the matinee performance. I'd say that getting there as the box office opens should be fine, no need to go any earlier than 10.

Saw the show Wednesday night, and was able to get two rush seats around 11 am. Excellent seats as well, sixth row orchestra right side. Sad to see the theater was not very full, as this is an excellent production!

It's hard to have a full house in a large venue like The Broadway Theatre, just ask the producers of Doctor Zhivago.

Hi all! Im hoping to rush for the final performance next weekend and was wondering if anyone had thoughts on what time I should get to the box office. As of now there are still many seats left on telecharge for that performance so I'm not too worried about time, but please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks for any advice!

I have no inside knowledge, but I would suggest playing it safe, and getting there when the box office opens for the final performance. While I doubt that there will be a crowd rushing, you never know with the final performance.

I'm not sure for the holidays, but I went the Saturday before Thanksgiving and got a rush seat around 6pm for the 8pm show. I was like sixth row, mezzanine. Great view!

I rushed last Wednesday, got there at 8 AM and was 2nd in line. By the time the box office opened there were 10-15 people standing

I rushed on Thursday and got to the box office around 10:45. Unfortunately, they only had single rush tickets left, so my friend and I ended up sitting separately. I talked to the ushers about possibly being reseated but they said it was a full house, and it certainly looked like it. Keep in mind that there are a lot of tourists for the holidays and people want to catch the show before it closes.

I think most of these replies are too optimistic...between Christmas to week and closing, this is likely to be busy...ALL rushes will likely be busy. Good luck.

Thanks for the information, everyone. I will most likely get there on the earlier side just to be safe. Super excited to see Judy. :)
