I must admit it might be fun seeing some of these trainwrecks. I did see Via & Legs however
Anyone else have any others?
Ha, I wouldn't mind seeing a revival of Senator Joe-- well, I mean, it never actually opened on Broadway, so it wouldn't actually be a revival, would it?
I don't think they'll ever bring back "Bring Back Birdie."

I want them to re-work Lestat and revive it... but I don't think that'll happen. Who knows, maybe with the success of twilight, they'll actually do it.
In My Life! Which is kind of sad because I didn't get to see it the first time around and I regret it every day... in my life!

CARRIE does have a chance of a revival.
If THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, which was a colossal flop on Broadway in 1975 could get a revival... CARRIE will as well.
Its only a matter of time, folks... as the creative team is slowly coming around to finally accepting its legendary status and letting something happen. Whatever that may be.

I really love Lestat's score!!! And I think it makes a GREAT concept for a musical... an epic tale of love and loss through the ages. I haven't seen it, but from what it sounds like... the writing killed this musical.
I enjoyed Lestat as well
I remember nothing of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
A few more flops you won't see anytime soon:

Are you kidding me? With the right sisters, they could have an amazing revival! It's just going to take a little more time, maybe in 5+ years.

Having seen Lestat I must say I really enjoyed it. There were some very memorable tunes specifically in act 2 including 2 show stoppers (I Want More & Sail Me Away). The cast was great with some really strong performances from Panaro, Sarich, Carmello (who even recieved a Tony nom) and a wonderful Broadway debut from Allison Fischer. The costumes were gorgeous and I really enjoyed the lighting. The problem was the book was all over the place and main characters came in and out and we care about them but dont know them well enough. Also the role of Marius was pointless.
I think the subject matter of Lestat was really controversial at the time, too.
But yeah, even Hugh Panaro agrees that he pretty much knew the show was going to be a disaster. Still, I love "Sail Me Away," and I agree that the cast was great.
Carrie has a chance of a revival! True, when it's bad, it is REALLY bad, but there are moments in it that really shine (specifically the mother/daughter scenes). There is a chance, just watch.
I can't believe no one has mentioned the horror that is Starmites!
WICKED. BEAST. Did you have to remind me? Seriously?
Starmites is the only show I've been in that has a plot so incomprehensible that even the actors and directors have no idea what's going on. There are a few fairly good songs, but oh my gosh... terrible all around. (Check it out on the Tony telecast...)
My only bone to pick with lestat is that while he never would have won Hugh deserved a Tony nomination. He was offstage for maybe 10-20 minutes of the entire show had a vocally demanding role and shined. He was wonderful and he along with the rest of the cast tried so hard to keep the show afloat. He gave it his all every night and deserved some recognition like Carolee and the set/costume desugners did.

Do you think A Tale of Two Cities has a chance of being revived?
Eh, it would take awhile, but I believe there is a chance. It really was a good show, maybe just a new concept would do it some good.
