You forgot Moulin Rouge which opened late 2019. Tony will probably go to Six or Moulin Rogue IMO."
I wouldn't rule of Jagged Little Pill, either. It's not a strong season, but a lot of shows with positive reviews. There's clearly no frontrunner this season.

I wonder what the running time is although I imagine they have no idea at this point.

Everything about this show seems a cut above every other musical this season. If it's good, I think it could do very well at the Tonys. I just hope it can live up to my expectations, which keep growing with every new tidbit I see.

I'd be willing to trust Tom Kitt's musicianship and imagination.
After all, he didn't need to be bipolar to write ''Next to Normal.'' ![]()

There's clearly no frontrunner this season.
When the reviews come out, I wouldn't be surprise to see Six emerge as the frontrunner.

I'm quite excited for the tap dancing in the show!

Does anyone know if Flying Over Sunset will have a digital lottery or rush? Broadwayforbrokepeople says they have a student rush, is that accurate?

Was just checking in on TDF yesterday evening and got a ticket for week after next.
Posted: 3/7/20 at 5:58pm
Was it officially announced? Is it a student rush or a general rush, and does anyone know how much the tickets are?

Let us hope it is a brisk 90 minutes and not another 2 hours and 59 minute tugboat.

I read in an interview with the creatives that there are two acts to this one. Whether it's a true two act-er with an intermission is another story (as opposed to just having two distinct parts.)

I’m expecting either Six or this to become the frontrunner. Right now I’m going to guess Flying Over Sunset, as Six seems very different from the usual types of winners, but I may change my mind and start predicting Six depending on what the reaction to this show is.
In all honesty, I can imagine this show either being fantastic or a disaster.

I was texting a friend yesterday that either this will be great or a mess. I’m hoping it’ll be great. Other than Moulin Rouge! (I know I’m in the minority there) or maybe Jagged Little Pill, I’m not all that excited about any of the eligible musicals this year. I think I’ve seen all of them except for The Lightning Thief.
Update: oops, I also haven’t seen Diana, Sing Street or Mrs. Doubtfire. Other than Sing Street, I don’t expect any of these to be contenders.
