A new behind-the-scenes video with interviews from the creatives, plus a sneak peek of a few costume renderings, and more snippets from some If the songs/lyrics. I get more and more intrigued and excited with every new bit of information that comes out about the show. I will be at the first preview and will definitely be sharing my thoughts.

You forgot Moulin Rouge which opened late 2019. Tony will probably go to Six or Moulin Rogue IMO."
I wouldn't rule of Jagged Little Pill, either. It's not a strong season, but a lot of shows with positive reviews. There's clearly no frontrunner this season.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
I keep refreshing the Vivian Beaumont Instagram location tag in hopes of seeing a glimpse of the set and so far there’s been nothing. Hoping someone leaks something soon.

Everything about this show seems a cut above every other musical this season. If it's good, I think it could do very well at the Tonys. I just hope it can live up to my expectations, which keep growing with every new tidbit I see.
In a recent interview all except Tom Kitt admitted taking LSD in the past. I’m not surprised to hear that Lapine took the most of the 3 given he wrote this musical and wrote bizarre musicals such as Sunday In The Park. I wish Tom Kitt had the same inspiration hehe.
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000
Just got LincTix for March 20th! Getting excited about this one for sure. Carmen sounds amazing and the tap footage with Tony seems legit. I’m feeling optimistic about this one. For the sake of original musicals on Broadway, I hope it’s good
They do have a rush and they'll probably have a lottery. They didn't have rush initially for My Fair Lady because it was pretty much completely sold out for the first few months. I'm sure they have it for this one.

I read in an interview with the creatives that there are two acts to this one. Whether it's a true two act-er with an intermission is another story (as opposed to just having two distinct parts.)
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

When the reviews come out, I wouldn't be surprise to see Six emerge as the frontrunner."
I’m expecting either Six or this to become the frontrunner. Right now I’m going to guess Flying Over Sunset, as Six seems very different from the usual types of winners, but I may change my mind and start predicting Six depending on what the reaction to this show is.
In all honesty, I can imagine this show either being fantastic or a disaster.
I was texting a friend yesterday that either this will be great or a mess. I’m hoping it’ll be great. Other than Moulin Rouge! (I know I’m in the minority there) or maybe Jagged Little Pill, I’m not all that excited about any of the eligible musicals this year. I think I’ve seen all of them except for The Lightning Thief.
Update: oops, I also haven’t seen Diana, Sing Street or Mrs. Doubtfire. Other than Sing Street, I don’t expect any of these to be contenders.
