All this talk about it made me excited, so I decided to buy it it now from PS Classics. So excited, I hope Bernadette sounds great on the recording. Kind of offtopic but when a performer records the album for a show does the said actor, act less and sing the score more "accurately?" For example will Bernadette do less crying so she'll hit the notes are written in losing my mind?
I can't explain why, but I'm in Connecticut and mine arrived today! I can't wait to listen to it, and will post my thoughts when I'm able to write them down!
^Just because someone asks for a link doesn't mean they don't already have a copy in the mail. It just takes a bit longer for CDs to ship all the way out here and some of us are very impatient. Can't help it.

I haven't seen the show yet - SO anxious to get there - but compared to this description and the full-length video clip from the Lincoln Center production, the recording is composed and clear and she hits the notes beautifully, and it maintains the vulnerability of the song. It's absolutely wonderful! I'm so happy with it.
