What's it about? Well...this is what the professor asked us to write about:
Select any genre not used in class and look at two films in the genre that are indicative of either historical change or breadth in that genre. Discuss te ways in which the variations in that genre are reflected in the film techniques used. In other words, how do the film techniques within the genre change over time, or how do they differ in different sub-genres? Sounds like fun, eh? I didn't think it would end up being so difficult. Sigh.
"I would rather take a flawed movie that has as much heart and passion and life and joy and energy and truth in it as this film does over any film that is completely perfectly presented and perfectly constructed but has none of that heart and life." -Anthony Rapp
