I don't know why they're putting her in ensemble roles, when she would be a KICK-ASS Joanne.
And I don't know why this show is still running.
Maybe she take over for Kristin
I like Frenchie but she scares me.
That girl is fierce! That's a reson right there to go back and see RENT again!

Baby trust me, there is NO good reason to go back and see the Broadway company of RENT.
broadwayguy, how could you say that? I think I just lost my crush on you.....
He is just trying to save you your money. The show as it stands now is horrendous.
Dame, you're right but when you add Frenchie to it, it gets SO much better.
I don't care how bad it is, it's still RENT. And I love it, no matter what.....
I didn't think her solo was that bad. Pretty good, actually. She's a diva. But Joanne...hoo boy. Don't want to have to see that again.
I second that Dame, the show needs to close. Its a great show yes, but now is the time to let it go out with the last bit of dignity its holding on to.

The Broadway company of RENT needs a HUGE overhaul.. those who remember the days of the OBC, Michael McElroy, Sherei Scott, Jim Poulos, Shayna Steele, et al can all vouch that the production quality is WAY LOW currently.

broadwayguy2, I remember the days from the OBC on....and certainly there have been highs and lows over the years. I disagree, however, with the notion that the show is at a low point. I think there are some very strong performances, and at the very least *I* think the show right now is more than adequate. Could there be some stronger performers cast in some roles? Sure. But over all the show is fine. Of course some won't agree, but that's fine too. Updated On: 5/15/04 at 01:11 PM
