Regardless, brava to her and that impressive reign!
"

Interesting point... When does Sunset Boulevard start rehearsals? Could she be the Norma alternate?
"

I never even considered that but since Rachel Tucker hasn't implied in any way that she's continuing with the production- maybe?

The Hills of California

Pirates of Penzance

The Roommate

Stephen Sondheim's Old Friends

Swept Away

&Juliet tour

These are all possible productions she could be in that have not announced full casts yet. Or maybe something happened in her personal life and she had to leave the tour due to that

The Oracle on the clock app just said she’s the Norma alternate.

Completely out of left field guess from myself. I guess we’ll see very soon if I’m right.

Saw the tour this week in Vancouver, and wanted to share some thoughts.

Obviously Frozen is not high art, and I understand that… but honestly, this may be one of the best shows to come through town. And I mean that from a wow factor perspective. We get a lot of non-equity or downscaled tours, so to get a show of this scale is actually pretty exciting - especially after the Mean Girls tour we recently had, oof.

Probably one of the most impressive set, lighting, and projection designs I’ve seen. The audience around me were audibly gasping throughout.

The sound was perfect, I understood every word. Ensemble was tight, and sounded fantastic. But the leads? My god. The vocals are sublime. Caroline is a tour de force, and you would never be able to tell she has been doing it so long. It was a beautiful, nuanced, and poignant performance. She did riffs and opt ups I had not heard before in Let it Go, and I’ve never heard a Vancouver audience scream so loud during a blackout.

Great spectacle, great vocals, a really fun time. Not high art, but heck… sometimes you just want a big broadway spectacle.

Frozen on tour closes today after 6 years and pandemic on the road! Congrats to all of those involved.

If Disney keeps up with its 25th and 30th anniversary productions we'll probably get a remounting or revival in the mid to late 2040's!
