Frozen Tour

Not sure where they are in casting process, but I'd love to see Chelsea Emma Franko as Elsa. She has been playing Elsa in Frozen Live at the Hyperion at Disneyland for several years (except for when she took a year off to tourthe US as the Elphaba standby). She's got the voice and experience.

Thoughts? Who would you like to see cast?

I second Chelsea, she's awesome. Someone on another thread said it'd be really cool if Kara Lindsay did Anna on Broadway once Patti leaves, I love her to death and she most definitely has the disney energy needed for the role, in my opinion. I think realistically she would just end up doing Broadway, but I suppose she could tour?... More of a pipedream than anything though.

I think both the Standbys will lead the tour! And I also think we will get PoC “Young Anna and Elsa” as well!

I’d love to see Alex Finke as Anna, though it would be cute if she did it on broadway opposite her Husband Joe as Hans.

I saw the show at Disney California Adventure last weekend and actually thought Chelsea should be moved to Broadway eventually. But the tour works too. She is fantastic.

I wish they would have a Black Young Anna Cover that can go on whenever Aisha goes on it doesn't make sense when you have a White Person playing Young Anna and a Black Person playing Adult Anna.

They should also make Aisha's wig somewhat Red maybe a darker shade of red.

I have learned from a credible source that Anna will be played by a former Elphaba. Very excited for this tour!

Are you counting standbys? I think Emily Koch would make a great Anna. If not, I’m having a hard time picturing any of the former Elphabas as Anna. Do you have one of the characters mixed up? Or is it indeed an Elphaba playing an Anna? Besides Emily, could it be Nicole Parker? She’s on the funnier side, but then again is in her 40’s..... any other clues? Like shows she’s been in?

Honestly this is probably an unpopular opinion but I could see Jesssica Vosk being Anna

I adore Vosk, but... I really don’t see it. Her voice is far too mature for a young(er) Disney role, in my opinion.

Caroline as Anna? There’s surly been weirder casting, but she just does not read comedic enough for me. She’d be a wonderful Elsa, though.....

That’s interesting. Her husband Austin Colby is in Jersey Boys at NWS and they’re always saying on social media how happy they are to finally be working in the same city. If true, great opportunity for her though. Disney seems to like moving their actors around so maybe she’ll eventually end up as a Caissie Levy replacement.

Or perhaps he’d also be in the tour. Disney does like to keep couples happy/together.

Christine Dwyer and Teal Wicks jump out to me as potential contenders along with Desi and Emily. If understudies apply, Hannah Shankman strikes me as an Anna.

The little Caroline as Anna is absolutely adorable. She seems perfect. Thrilled they hired both a newcomer and a young girl as Anna.
