I won. You can get two tickets and they're in the front row (at least mine were)

I won today after entering almost every day for the last week. Was also in the front row- I think my seat was A332, absolutely perfect view. You basically feel like you're sitting in their living room!

I won on Saturday and was front row, A 214. Literally a perfect seat.

Both me and my friend entered last Saturday, but both came up losers.   We were, however, able to use a discount for the show.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

Related question, has anyone tried to get student tickets at the box office? I know you can get them through TIX4STUDENTS but didn't know if you could get them directly. I had previously for ROMEO & JULIET.

Also, has anyone heard about Standing Room for this show?

I'm curious about standing room for this show, as well. Anyone know?

SRO is $30, available if the show is sold out.

I've lost Fun Home and Hamilton about 60 times each (including family members' entries).  I won On the Town on the ~40th try.  Given the size of the theater, I can't imagine there are a lot of tickets, and given how easy it is to enter, I can imagine there are a ton of participants.

^ On the flip side, I have a friend who has won four times since the Broadway run started previews. I know, I know: how unfair. I, however, have lost all 12 times. Oh well.

They should make it that if you win once, you get locked out for 365 days to make it fair for others.  Also, they should stop the "tweet this", "facebook that" (spamming everyone you know) to give additional entries.

The "tweet this," "Facebook that," thing is fine… but are we actually getting additional entries? There's no way to know.

365 days is a little excessive. 30 days, maybe… but not an entire year.

^ I think being locked out for a year is a bit much, but I think 30 days would be appropriate. It boils down to money. If you win great, if you don't, that person who did has money that is just as good as yours.

After trying Fun Home and Hamilton Lotteries for a month - finally won a Sunday matinee for Fun Home. Our seats were in row E in the 100s. The seats were fine. While we were waiting for the doors to open and since we were already in the city we entered the the Something Rotten lottery. This was the first Sunday evening show after the show opened and we thought maybe not many people were aware of it. When we came out of Fun Home we checked our e-mail and we both won the Something Rotten lottery! We quickly contacted some friends who took the second pair of tickets. I never win anything so to win two lotteries in one day was kind of surreal! Tickets for Something Rotten were front row. They were marked partial view but because we were in the center where the stage is cut out around the orchestra conductor our seats were fine. The sides would not have been as good.

I've lost and I play every day for at least the past 2 weeks. I did win once for On the Town which was a fun surprise!

I also have entered this entire week to no avail. Really hoping for tomorrow as that will be the last time I'll be able to see anything before school ends and I leave the city! If not it's not going anywhere.

its funny though, I've won almost any other lotto I've tried except any of the virtual ones!

A friend and I both tried for 2-3 weeks, and she eventually won one day. We were in the front row as well, and it was a great seat.

The lotto says that you get one extra entry for each share on social media. While I find that annoying I get while they do it. It's free promo for them and I can't blame them, we get great tickets for little money in return.

I agree about the lock-out, a year is a bit much, but a month would certainly be fair. Plus, if you're going with someone the other person who didn't win can still enter if you want to go again badly.

We arrived in Manhattan Sunday night for week long stay here in NYC. Had a calender reminder for Hamilton go off at 9am this morning. Entered it, then went a message popped up asking if I'd like to enter another Broadway show lottery. Downloaded the TodayTix app and entered Fun Home and Privacy lottery.

Around 4:15pm today, I got an email saying "Sorry, but you didn't win" from Hamilton and Privacy. At 4:35 pm I get a call from a 855 area code and answer, which is not ordinary because I'm thinking it's going to be a telemarketer or spam call. Nice gentleman on phone says while although I didn't initially win, one of the winners is unable to go and would I like to claim them? Yes!

So, now we're about to head to dinner, then heading to the box office at 6pm to pay for our 2 tickets. Haven't been this happy in quite some time!

Just think positive, and envision yourself winning. I know it sounds hokey, but I knew I was going to win. Will post review after the performance, and good luck to you all!

The first time I entered this lotto, on March 25 (a Friday), I won, and my seats were in row F. My seat was 104. May have gotten a farther back seat because it was a Friday and more crowded. Personally, I liked that area because the actors faced us at key parts.
