THE NORMAN CONQUESTS (at least TABLE MANNERS...I see ROUND AND ROUND tomorrow) was a riot. That was the first thing that came to mind.

Rock Of Ages. A lot of haters on this message board but people laugh their asses off every night in that theater.

God of Carnage is also hilarious, as is August: Osage County (not brand new, but still great)

39 Steps is a riot, too, and it is truly a theatrical humor, so it's very unique. Exit the King's also hilarious if your into Absurdist stuff, and you like Ionesco.

Oh, yeah, 39 Steps was wonderful. I'm not sure if it would be as magical the second time around.
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.

9 to 5 was funny. It has become my "feel good" show to go to if I need a laugh for 2 hrs.
Don't believe everything that you hear! Only the peeps involved know the truth!

without question the funniest and best show on Broadway is THE NORMAN CONQUESTS - any or all 3 of the plays

I'd say BLITHE SPIRIT. Had a blast. Ebersole and Lansbury are truly comic geniuses.
And you think of all of the things you've seen, and you wish that you could live in between ,and you're back again only different than before...
After the Sky.

I'd say go off Broadway to the Public and check out Why Torture is Wrong...one of the funniest plays I've seen in a while...couldn't stop laughing throughout the entire thing

Would you recommend Blithe Spirit as a pick-me-up?
I need to see something joyous and funny as well. I saw The Norman Conquests already and it was hilarious.

I would also highly recommend Blithe Spirit.

The Norman Conquests, without a doubt. Laugh out loud funny, brilliant ensemble performances, and laugh after laugh after laugh.

Are ALL funny. Each different in their own way.

Marie: Don't be in such a hurry about that pretty little chippy in Frisco.
