I know it's really early to ask this, but has anyone rushed it yet? I know MTC's rush sells out relatively early but I was debating on risking it and trying to rush around 6PM tonight. But the only other times I've done that for a show at the Friedman, the rush was sold out.
Also wondering about rush. I'm doing it regardless on Wednesday, but wasn't sure if I should get there at 10 or if I could sleep in a little bit and get there at 11:30/12ish.
I rushed the first preview and got front row mezz. I have a feeling this is going to sell extremely well, though.
Yeah, I'm not gonna rush tonight. It's the first Saturday performance...by time I get down there around 6ish, I'm sure rush will be gone.
Maybe next week. Really excited to see this.
I got so excited when I got a 30-under-30 email about this show today but it had the wrong information ..I really want to see it.
Rush sold out when the box office opened today.
The show is sold out tonight. I tried to get a ticket about an hour ago.
Saw this last night. Rush is definitely tricky to get, but I had a great scene in the front mezz.
I don't know if she's just really come into the role since people saw it last, but I couldn't get enough of Frances McDormand. Don't get me wrong, Estelle Parsons was hysterical, as was Becky Ann Baker. McDormand's performance was really something, though. I thought it was so skillfully crafted and definitely getting easier and more natural. Just wanted to add my thoughts.

Saw Saturday's matinee and thorougly enjoyed it, although I do agree that it's the kitchen sink sort of play, pretty much verging on soap opera -- not that there's anythng wrong with soap opera, but don't go expecting any in-depth forays into the mysteries of the universe. The acting was fine throughout and it moved along at a good pace.
One warning: I went to the box office with a flyer and they said that they had nothing on the flyer, just full price ($121.00). I immediately went to the TKS booth and got third row center orchestra for $90.30.
Saw this at Sunday's matinee. I really liked it.
I thought Act II was MUCH stronger than Act I. I enjoyed Act I -- enough to care about the characters and enough to look forward to intermission being over, but I just felt like all of the act was exposition.
I liked all of the performances, and loved the local (I'm from Boston) references. (Although I'm not really sure if Estelle's was quite a Tony nom worthy.)
The show was sold out, and had no problems with my 3rd row Mezz seat.
