I believe tonight's the opening, so logically, the reviews will be out soon enough.
Um, doesn't it get reviewed on the 14th? Or am I just nuts?

I thought tonight was opening, but I remember thinking there was some confusion as to whether it was tonight or the fourteenth.

Well considering the 14th is a 2-show day, and tonight is a 6:30 performance, I assume tonight's the opening.
Opens tonight but press night is on the 14th.
That's weird. Damn, I was hoping for reviews tonight.

Oh, well.
Guess I'll be seeing it with the press on Saturday.
Yeah, I made a thread about this earlier this week.
Tonight is the opening for the cast, crew, etc. The party and everything. But Saturday is the opening for the press.
Apparently the Public does the same thing. And it's good because the cast can have their opening night party without the worry of reviews.
Screw the cast and crew, dammit!
I just got back---- press night is going to be Saturday.
Ok... there is nothing more that I can say that has not already been said... this production is amazing, and Lupone is ASTOUNDING !!!!
I MUST go back !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Patti Lupone singing Rose's Turn is one of the best things I've ever seen in my life! She was incredibly amazing!
Although all press is attending on Saturday, we've been asked to hold reviews until Monday.
^ Well they wouldn't come out on the Sunday. It was planned for Monday reviews.
Is the press attending the matinee, evening, or both?
The only review that matters is already posted on this board. And it was from a DRESS REHEARSAL!
Official news of a transfer would be awesome...
*prays*
If this isn't recorded, it will be an absolute travesty.
Why are they burying the reviews to a Monday un read News day?
*waits patiently until Monday*

The cast doen't know anything about a transfer. Some of them have other commitments: Laura Benanti has a tv show breweing and Boyd Gaines has signed to play Pickering in the Roundabout's upcoming PYGMALION.

I can't see them going to Broadway without Benanti and Gaines, which would create the possibility of a Tony sweep.
If they go to London, LuPone would be the only one to go along with it.
By the time Gaines' limited run in PYGMALION has ended, Benanti's TV show will have been cancelled, and GYPSY can be set to open for a six month limitied run starting in say, February, directly through the Tonys. Perfect timing.

At the Imperial, now empty following the way-too-brief run of In The Heights.
Bite your tongue, Yankee! Did you see IN THE HEIGHTS, by the way?
