Hi all! I've seen DEH 6 times and my daughter has seen it twice. My daughter wanted to see it again with Gaten. We went a few weeks ago and he was wasn't there. An awesome plus is we got to see Matthew Kemp's broadway debut and he was awesome!!!! I then took her to Broadway in Bryant Park and Gaten was not there. I got tickets again for last Saturday matinee and the A/C wasn't working. We explored the city and tried again for the night show which wound up being canceled too. I rebooked my tickets for Tues and heard he wasn't going to be there again so my friends went instead. Does anyone know of any other scheduled days off for Gaten besides today? After 5 attempts I'm hoping to make it happen for her.

The joke is he’ll boast about how he’s seen HELLO, DOLLY! over a thousand times, so his comment is moronic.

Gaten is fine. He was doing what many in-demand TV and film actors do... filming.

Which is not fine if you're billed as appearing on a Broadway show, unless they had announced a scheduled absence.
Theater is not a hobby you can drop to do something else.

I'm not sure who an earth you think you are trpguyy but I totally agree with 'blaxx' - if you are billed, there is an expectation that you will be on. Like I said, many patrons were asking for refunds and exchanges given that Gaten was off. I don't need you to inform me that he was away 'filming' thank you like you are some king of personal connection to Gaten. Period.

What in the fresh hell? As someone who expressed concern over his well-being, I figured you'd be relieve to learn that he is "ok," and utilized some personal days for prior professional commitments; a standard practice in the entertainment industry.
It's really generous of the box office to offer exchanges, as it states explicitly on the ticket that there are no exchanges or refunds allowed.
