Posted: 11/6/08 at 4:37pmJust add two more wonderful names to the top of that, and it would be perfect! This is such a simple poster, but I love it already.

The 'Guys' lettering is from the 1980s National Theatre production

Posted: 11/6/08 at 5:31pmI love it! I'm looking forward to taking my parents to see this when they visit me in the city.

Posted: 11/6/08 at 5:41pmLOVE IT! Just makes me wish I could see it even more! I love this show! I don't care how many revivals they do. It's such a gem of a show.
re: Guys and Dolls artwork#12
Posted: 11/6/08 at 5:43pmI'm really getting excited about this show... I like how classic-looking the poster is. I hope they don't try to 'update' it too much. The book is still great, and the score's still beautiful.

re: Guys and Dolls artwork#18
Posted: 11/6/08 at 7:56pmI want to know who that "Oliver Lauren" is who's billed above Platt. Costume designer?

re: Guys and Dolls artwork#20
Posted: 11/6/08 at 8:14pmI dunno. It is nicely done don't get me wrong, but it doesn't scream 'wow' to me either.
re: Guys and Dolls artwork#21
Posted: 11/6/08 at 8:20pmI'm surprised how many people are liking this artwork...so bland.
re: Guys and Dolls artwork#22
Posted: 11/6/08 at 8:23pmFor me, it's less the poster itself and more that it's sort of hard proof that the revival actually is happening. Even if it is only on a computer screen.

Eew.
Don't like this artwork at all, I gotta say. It just seems cheesy and cheap to me.
They should use something in the vein of the London production's artwork.
That was cool...and new and fresh.
