Sorry this is in the wrong thread, but, does anyone know Ms. Maleah Joi Moon’s weekly performance schedule? It’s not listed on their website. I know she’s still in the show. I tried going on Sunday, January 12th, Sunday matinee, and she was out.

I just won a Lottery for this Wednesday matinee at 2pm but I’m leary to claim the tickets because I don’t know if Ms. Moon’s will be playing.

I know you can never be sure if a certain actor will be in or out but I thought someone here might have more details.

According to Telecharge, it says she will not be performing this Wednesday matinee.

Maleah Joi Moon will depart on March 30, and Brandon Victor Dixon leaves on March 9. 

Jade Milan will replace Moon as Ali through May 25. Milan and Dixon’s successors will be announced later.

This is great casting. Honestly surprised the Tank run went without much fanfare, although I did notice that he was out A LOT since the Understudies website (as well as me passing by the theatre) often saw either Chad Carstarphen, Desmond Sean Ellington, or Benjamin H. Moore on for Davis

I did not see this last year because I ran out of slots and was not dying to see it.  We saw it last week -- my wife wanted to see it, and she loved it).  I thought it was entertaining, although the book was embarrassing at times.  I did not see Kecia Lewis, but I find it hard to believe that the role itself was good enough to warrant her winning a Tony over Lindsay Mendez. 

I loved the set design.  I thought that the choreography was entertaining.

I did not see Maleah, but thought her replacement was fine.

Jessica Vosk is taking a leave of absence from the show due to a back injury. She is expected to return on July 8.

The Playbill article stated she'll finish out this weekend and then she'll be out on medical leave. It's due to her back.

Couldn’t find a replacement casting thread for this, but Jessica Vosk and Phillip Johnson Richardson are departing the Broadway company on November 30.

Standby Kelsee Kimmel will temporarily assume the role of Jersey full-time from December 2 - January 11, and understudy Lamont Walker II begins as Knuck on the same day.

Gospel music’s Yolanda Adams will share the role of Miss Liza Jane with Lewis starting November 21, before taking over full time from December 16 — January 25.

I was wondering how much longer Kecia was going to be doing the role considering how demanding it can be and how hard it might be to find a replacement.

She really terrific!  A bit closer to Shoshana Bean's performance than Jessica Vosk's performance.

I know Patti is an active girl and still touring, but she's also 81. She can no doubt sing it, but it'd be a lot for her I'm sure.
