Rushed this morning for final preview.
And now that I have tickets, I divulge:
They gave 10 total rush tickets.
Person 1- 2 tx - arrived 3am
Person 2 - 2tx - arrived 3:15am
Person 3 - 1 tx - arrived 3:50am
Person 4 - 2tx- arrived 3:55am
Person 5 - 2 tx - arrived 6:15am
Person 6 - 1 tx - arrived 7am
First 4 tickets were full view orchestra.
Next 6 tickets were partial view orchestra sides or boxes.
After that they sold $99 partial view tickets in the boxes.
Show is sold out tonight. No standing room (that I know of) until they open.

I have never rushed before, should I even bother rushing and tomorrow getting up at the crack of dawn tomorrow given it will be opening night? I don't know whether Hadestown does the rush style where they have a designated number of seats set aside for rush, or if it is only based on tickets which haven't sold day-of yet. Any advice? I am fine getting up early, just looking to know whether it's best to table this to next week since SRO tickets will be made available by then.
Katie,
I definitely would NOT recommend rushing for tomorrow’s opening. Even if they do use the “set aside” system for rush, they are likely to make an exception for opening night.

I agree - I highly doubt they'll have any rush tix for opening day. If you do go, go at like 4am.
I was at the Box Office today picking up tickets, when someone asked about rush. The Box Office worker said that they won't be selling rush until June at earliest.

Everyone, thanks for the updates. I have confirmed with a friend of a friend that there are not in fact rush tickets available on opening night, so that settles that! More sleep for me haha. Onward later this month to SRO tickets, wish me luck.

anyone have an update from the first performance post-opening/ the first morning of SRO?????
I got a rush ticket today. I happened to be in the front of the line, so I’m not sure how many tickets were sold.
I got Row P center Orchestra l!

I was actually first in line, and I got there at 3:30. Two other people came around 3:35. Two more people came around 4:30. But, around 6 or 7, was when all the line started to really grow.

Any inkling of how many people got them?

Interesting since they've been selling rush tickets since first preview.

They did sell rush today, but it's not guaranteed they will have rush tickets every day. They also don't know how many will be available.
They will not sell standing room until every single last seat is sold. At 7:15, when they tickets came off Ticketmaster, there were about 6 scattered seats left, all for about $250ish? We tried and waited and hoped they would sell us standing room, but instead they offered the remaining seats which had dropped to $189.
I’m getting in the rush line around 2am tonight. I only need one ticket. Message me if you’re interested in paying for my ticket in order to get the second one. Even better if you’re willing to rush a show for me at noon (Hadestown opens at 10 since they have a 1pm performance) so I can sleep before the matinee.

2am?! Woof. I was hoping it being Easter would make it easier and showing up at six would be enough.
That's a lot. Now I know I'll definitely need to be on time when I rush! I'm fine with standing if needed, but holy crow!

Entered the line at 9:20, got tickets for the evening show! I wasn't expecting to, but it was partial view orchestra. They also had box left for the matinee.

Rush! I'll admit, the view wasn't the best but I was just happy to be in the house. The other rush people were in the box, I'd assume I was one of the last people it sold to.

Exactly. Six months ago, who would have guessed that the HADESTOWN stans would "out crazy" the BE MORE CHILL stans!!
Hi all! I am planning on rushing for tomorrow evening's show. What would be a good time to arrive to ensure a ticket? 3am? 2? Thanks!

It seems they have a lot more tickets since opening. I arrived at 10:00am for a 10am box office open and they gave almost 40 tickets. I got one. I think 5am is safe.
