I know Michelle Williams was apart of the show as well. I'm not too familiar with Cassondra's voice but wow SO stunning! "
I went backstage at OOTI and it was around the time of Michelle Williams. I was telling them that I was planning to see her on a certain date and they said don’t count on it, expect an understudy. Don’t you know I had an understudy that day and then the next week she left the show.
Didn't Michelle Williams only do 3-4 shows of OOTI? Biggest bust in terms of any stunt casting on Broadway.
Are we to assume that Lana Gordon is 6 shows this week?
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.
Its wild how they casually dropped that revelation on you. Some people would just cancel their tickets if they can't see their performer on their specified date. Did she leave to work on something else?
Kimberly Marable is literally the sweetest human being in the world. I met her backstage at Hadestown and gave her and Afra birthday presents since the day I went was between their birthdays. Kimberly sent me this lovely message on IG the next day and how she was super excited to use the gift card I got her (and then messaged me after she used the gift card and how it got her through the day)!

She left abruptly per doctor’s orders. I don’t remember if the reason was made public- like if she had physical injury or mental illness related/anxiety.
Yep! I wonder if Jewelle and Lana will follow the same schedule for next week as well?
Kimberly Marable seems awesome! I'm a little saddened that Afra isn't with the show currently but I might see her back when I get to see the show in January. And it's so nice how their birthdays are so close! I heard a lot of Broadway fans/supporters also bring/deliver boxes of Schmackary's to the shows too (never been, never tried, heard their cookies are A+).

So surprising she only did 3-4 shows if so. Maybe Broadway differed from touring for her?

Definitely try Schmackarys. Super small store. There’s only a select few I personally like. If you want good cookies, there’s a little deli next to Rosie OGradys that has good cookies. Couldn’t tell you the name of it but they have really really good chocolate chip cookies hahaha
I'm heading there this weekend so definitely going to (for Lehman as well)! I was going to try their peanut butter ones and funfetti (I heard mixed reviews about this one though)
Is it the 810 Deli? Who also has the best cookies is Gasoline Alley Coffee (such a hidden gem). They had a peanut butter-marshmallow cookie, which was amazing! I also heard Levain Cookies is really good, but I always forget to run into there when I'm near them. I'm always on the hunt for a good chocolate chip cookie lol

Yes!! That must be it. I Google mapped it and it’s the deli right next door to Rosie OGradys! I remember them having really good cookies. Could have changed since the last time I got food there. I’ll definitely check out Gasoline Alley Coffee!

My favorite cookies in NY are from Chip City. They're expanding all over the city these days. I believe they recently opened a location at Rockefeller Center, and there's on in the West Village if you head downtown!

If I found the right website… those cookies look AMAZING. They have Halloween ones?! I’m in.

Yes Gasoline Alley is the best and the baristas are so kind! I'm definitely going to try the cookies from 810 Deli as well!

I've actually heard of them but I had no idea they opened a Rockefeller Center location! They recently opened a location near Central Park too. Also really good cookies are Insomnia Cookies too!
Luna when you go to Schmackary's make sure you get the Oatmeal Scotchie - oatmeal cookie with butterscotch chips. So good! According to the website they have it this month! My other favorite is The Birthday Party. Rainbow sprinkles, crushed oreos, and chocolate. Can't go wrong!!!
What I need is an authentic Italian bakery somewhere in Times Square area! Anyone have suggestions!

Super off topic, but their funfetti is my favorite at Schmackary’s :)

I am definitely doing this. I was going to take a box of six of them back home, and now I need four more to add in there. (I was looking at the website earlier but it's so hard to choose) The Birthday Party cookie sounds amazing what?!! The website says they won't have the Oatmeal Scotchie on the day I'm going (Saturday) I hope there's the possibility it'll be there in person! (I'll definitely share a picture of the Schmackary box though)
THIS I wish I had. I'd love an authentic Italian bakery too. I actually heard Sullivans is pretty good!
Schmackary's is awesome because we literally could have them deliver cookies to the Hadestown company, so there lol

I dont think they'll have The Birthday Party in store now that I look at the website again Hopefully they'll have extras of the Oatmeal Scotchie!
I go to Carlos Bakery. Total tourist trap but I loooooove their lobster tails. And its on the way to the train haha. My mom's side is from Naples, Italy and they go the The Feast of San Gennaro every year. I haven't gone yet but I have my bus ticket already for next September. I feel like that area is so far away from the Theatre District. It would be difficult to stop at a bakery before or after a show and able to get the train or bus home.

They'd have Oatmeal Scotchie on Friday though so I think they're bound to have a few extras. I'll definitely report back on this lol Their Monster Mash cookie sounds a little similar to The Birthday Party and I think it will be available this week!
Carlos Bakery also has great hot chocolate! I always wanted to try their cookies, they are so advertised everywhere. The beautiful thing about that area is that it always feels like a movie, there's so much music (literally every restaurant). I recently went to Little Italy though I missed the San Gennaro Feast sadly, gelato from Allevas and zeppoles from a restaurant I'm forgetting the name of. Still looking for a perfect zeppole though!
As an option, would you be able to take a Lyf/Uber before/after a show then to the train/bus station? (I prefer Lyfs, plus they're pretty quick!)
I’m sorry to be off topic as well, but has anyone ever had the Mexican Hot Chocolate cookies from Schmackarys?? They’re seasonal and don’t appear a lot but they’re my FAVORITES

I have not! But it does sound interesting… I wonder if it will show up in November and be around through the end of the year.
