Didn't see a thread. Thoughts?
It started roughly, but then it got better. Also, why wasn't Sasha there? (At least, I didn't see her. I saw that Saycon sang the solo at the end)

Was it just me or did the audience seem uber-lame, and not into it at all?

Gavin's shirt looked like it shrank in the wash. Not that I'm complaining...

I noticed Sasha, Caissie, and Jackie were missing.

I thought it was a fine performance. It looked really...messy to me though. I feel like the big numbers where they go into the audience don't really translate very well on TV. Save the Tony performance. I wish the audience was a bit more into it..hah.

And why did Conan eat the daisy Alison Case handed him...? Hahaha.

The audience seemed like they thought they were too cool for musical theater since they are in LA.

I'm a professional. Whenever something goes wrong on stage, I know how to handle it so no one ever remembers. I flash my %#$&. "Jayne just sat there while Gina flailed around the stage like an idiot."

Also, I think he was running on fumes as per his blog he did. Because he seemed all sorts of goofy funny during the beginning! Cute1

Audience seemed very weak. You could tell they were sitting there with their arms crossed, bored.

The Tony performance was much much better. Gavin didnt sound as good. Saycon knocked it out though.

A few people were into it but most people in the audience seemed very uncomfortable. :/ Come on guys, It's Hair! Anyway, I thought it was a good performance. And Gavin's pants- low rise!

Your latest 7in sounds obscene unless you spin it at a 45.

The camera didn't work in their favor. The setup of the studio didn't help, either.

Conan's band loved it, though!

The Conan Tonight show is shot at Universal Studios. It is not a LA crowd. It is all tourists. They are also all fried from being in the sun all day at City Walk and the amusement park.

Oh....considering they were a non theater loving audience, I thought they were great...they really warmed up and were audibly VERY appreciative.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

That was great. I'm a fan of Gavin's shorter shirt. He can wear that anytime he wants.
