Hamilton is finally getting a Broadwaycom vlog!

Leslie will serve as the vlogger for the show. I hope he'll be able to vlog behind the scenes for tony award stuff. I would've loved to see rory o'malley do another vlog, but I'm happy Hamilton is finally getting one.

Yeeeeessssss!!!!  I figured out to use snapchat just for him when he took over the Tony awards snapchat. (And by "use" I mean "look at" because I still have no idea how to snap or whatever the kids call it.). Anyway he seems to have such a good sense of humor and like to goof around backstage. I think it will be fun to watch.

The reason this may seem to be "lagging" is because Broadway.com, which exists only to sell tickets at a ridiculously marked up price, has nothing to sell for Hamilton. Its sales model does not work when tickets are hard to acquire because it has no way to acquire them.

I love them and wish there were more, of longer duration.

A Hamilton blog might not sell tickets, but it sure is going to raise BW.com's profile in the internet community...think of all the people who are going to start visiting their site and watching their videos after seeing the Hamilton vlog. The vlog isn't just for the show's benefit or to sell tickets, it also is just good publicity for the website. 

I always figured they'd do a vlog eventually but I honestly thought it would be like an ensemble member or one of the girls since all the leads are so busy. Thrilled they got Leslie though! Can't wait!

Honestly though, I really think Hamilton might close soon.  I was there today (after winning the lottery for the 4th time (I have tickets for November too!)) and the theatre was only half full.  I asked an usher and I heard that they will be closing by the end of the month and that Heathers will be opening in the Richard Rogers next month.

I loved the bit with Porter and Rapp and everyone just hanging and sharing stories. So cool how all of their pasts are interconnected so tightly going so far back and how candidly they caught it on video.
