The show has been ridiculously successful and exposed so many new people to Hedwig, I'm sad to see it go, but I congratulate them on doing a great job.

Really sad news. Wasn't expecting it to close early.
It's such a great show so I wish it lots of success on tour now.

I don't understand why they didn't keep going. There won't be another big Hedwig production EVER.. So disappointing. I hope it goes on tour.. yes they said they would, but some shows say that, then don't.

Wow. Was not expecting this just yet. They had a wonderful run, though. I'm feeling very torn on whether to try to go to the final performance. I haven't been back since JCM's last show, and part of me (most of me) thinks there really couldn't be a better last show than that one.

Is that the end of Taye's run? What are the chances of another Hedwig coming back to close out the show as people have been speculating?

I'm sad to see it go because this became a big part of my life in many ways. Through the four times I saw it, it brought me closer to a lot of people. While I am sad to see it go, I'm glad it's going out with a bang instead of a whimper.

Taye's run was supposed to be 12 weeks, so October 11th would have been his last show. They are closing a month early.

There goes the announcement as to who the next Hedwig is! Anyways, I feel bad this is closing. I would've really loved to have seen Alan Cumming do this.

JCM said the show will go to the West End so Alan Cumming would be kind of perfect for that.
