Hedwig - Seating question

Hi, I wanted to get tickets for Hedwig and I was looking at the $84 dollar seats in mezz as well the $84 seats and $49 seats in balcony. Are there any seats that are terrible? I just wanted to know what seats to avoid getting or where to avoid sitting. Thank you so much!! :)

I saw no $49 seats on telecharge even though it said that in the price range.

The Belasco is a smaller theater, so you would probably be okay in the mezz. BUT, if you get balcony seats on the side....there's a chance you'll be in the one that Hedwig directly addresses during the show. :)

I'd avoid anything on the extreme sides, but otherwise you should be okay.

Has anyone sat in the last 2 rows $49 seats? From the seating chart view it looks like you miss about half the stage, but I wanted to know if this was accurate. Thanks!

I agree with rib to avoid the far sides. There is climbing equipment on either side of the stage and will obstruct your view. Get as far into the center as possible.

And you won't have to worry about having Hedwig address you directly unless you're in the interactive box, and I think those seats are pretty pricey.

Are regular orchestra tickets for the JCM period officially 'released' yet?

I see plenty of Premium seats for sale, but other than the EXACT SAME GROUP of extreme left and right side tickets, there are NO "regular" orchestra seats coming up for the entire run. While I don't doubt the drawing power of JCM, I just find it very suspect that not a single random seat would every show up across all of the shows.

Is Telecharge holding back releasing seats until it gets closer, or something? Trying to milk all it can from premium first? I bought tix for HPH, AR and MCH without any issue at all ... something seems fishy.

I bought regular seats in the first row of the mezzanine, a bit off to the side. A Saturday in March toward the end of the run.

I've got tix towards the rear of the orchestra at "regular" orchestra prices for mid-February. Bought online about 2 weeks ago, so they were selling them then.

The seats available are constantly updating, so that seats of different prices ranges/visibility/etc. are always available. Like, I just bought row H, side orch aisle at regular price this morning, but that wasn't available for the past week...

They don't want scalpers to just buy all the primo regular seats, so they don't put them all onsale at once. And, yes, if demand creeps up, that also gives them more flexibility on price/premium/etc.

I bought my ticket on Broadway.com because I couldn't find the seats I wanted 2 weeks ago on Telecharge... I am in Row D front Mezzanine aisle for JCM's 2/21 performance.
