A friend who went to the invited dress also had very little positive to say. His central complaint was that it was simply boring.
If/Then never thought it was going to be the next N2N. Fans of N2N thought it would be. The producers of both shows have always stressed that both are completely different.

For those who saw the invited dress, what time is an 8pm show "out on the street"? Is there an intermission?
According to my friend, it clocked in at nearly 3 hours with intermission.

I will be going later this week, but would greatly appreciate if someone who is going tonight could share a song list!
Holy crap! I was hoping this was going to be 90 minutes to 2 hours.

Yea, 3 hours, oh boy. I'm bringing the head phones and a book, if I get bored, I'll sit in the lounge and wait for hubby unless he wants to leave too.

Oh boy, a 3 hour boring mess - this is not looking good. And a heads-up to everyone: the N, Q and R trains shut down in Manhattan starting 10pm every night this week. So a lot of you (Astoria, Brooklyn, etc) will face commuting difficulties too. Looks like the total night from hell.

The Q is my line, so I'm thinking if by intermission it's a total disaster, I'm out.

To those going tonight and will be giving reports....as Roger DeBris said in The Producers on the critique of his gown....be brutal...brutal.

Isn't that the default setting on BWW?!
C'mon, it wasn't even the first preview! You can't expect a show to be perfect at the final dress rehearsal, without even an out of town tryout (although it really should have done one).
Of course not. But what it SHOULD be by the final dress rehearsal, is ready to be presented to an audience paying their money for it.

^ I would think so too, but it doesn't appear to be available through the usual sources.

I really want this to be good. It's got Tonya Pinkins in it. I love her.

How does someone get "papered" tickets to something like this?
I usually love flops so I feel like Im always spreading good word of mouth!
And I just dont want to pay for this
Going on Wednesday. I was originally optimistic, but now I'm scared. At least Tonya Pinkins might stage door, which would make the whole experience worth it.

I don't think that was actually Snoop in the audience. I saw that post while I was at the theater and went to look for him at intermission. Spotted him but he was with a Tupac impersonator which leads me to believe he was just an impersonator as well. I found a pic on instagram: http://instagram.com/p/owproxnTls/

it was a Snoop impersonator. Snoop is not that tall. I ran in to him (literally) leaving a show a few weeks ago. He was on his way to The Hard Rock Cafe.
