It's hard to tell with no weekly statistics. I've been twice. Once was sold out, the other time the last 5 rows of the orchestra were empty.

Hopefully it does well. It's a great production.

It doesn't hurt that the minimum off-broadway salary for actors is nowhere near as high as for what broadway actors get paid.

Matt Shingledecker has been tweeting about going on auditions, but I'm not sure if that really says much.

^^That's business as usual for Matt so I wouldn't read much into it. :)

Got third row center seats on TKTS two weeks ago and would say the theatre was a little more than half-full. This was for a Wednesday evening performance, so I'm not sure if that's the norm.

"You travel alone because other people are only there to remind you how much that hook hurts that we all bit down on. Wait for that one day we can bite free and get back out there in space where we belong, sail back over water, over skies, into space, the hook finally out of our mouths and we wander back out there in space spawning to other planets never to return hurrah to earth and we'll look back and can't even see these lives here anymore. Only the taste of blood to remind us we ever existed. The earth is small. We're gone. We're dead. We're safe." -John Guare, Landscape of the Body

I went last Saturday afternoon. Even though there were only 12 people at the lotto, the show was mostly full, with a few scattered seats in the rear orchestra, and maybe one empty row upstairs.

I've gone a few times, it always seems to be pretty full. Some days are definitely better than others.

Speaking of, what's the lotto policy/time for this one? Need to catch it soon.

I definitely do not think it's taken off the way some assumed it would.

A full theater is no indication of how the show is doing financially, it is how much the audience paid for those tickets.

I saw it in it's first week back and the house was packed. New World Stages could barely hold everyone waiting in the lobby. It is such a well done show and I truly hope it does well. They need to be more clear about where the Stage Door is because I looked for it and missed Mimi and Joanne but luckily caught everyone else.
