I've met her on several occasions, and unfortunately the Lea Michele/Rachel Berry line is just as ambiguous (nonexistent) as people have speculated. And was before Rachel Berry even existed (i.e. she had a dreadful attitude problem back in the Spring Awakening Days too). I've seldom been so repulsed by snobbery, b*tchery, and self-absorption in a performer - especially such a young one. I don't usually go out of my way to bash her, but I have no patience for egos like that.
^ Although she was very friendly to me the few times I met her, I've heard the stories about Michele that date back even before SPRING AWAKENING, and I've heard them from enough people to surmise that they're likely true. When you've been constantly praised since the age of eight and told that you're one of the great stars of your generation at nineteen, it's easy to manifest an inflated ego and buy into your own hype.
Now what was that hot tea/Ragtime story....?
Homophobes? I think not being unable to understand the phenomenon that is Chris Colfer doesn't mean any of us who poked fun at the "announcement" that he and Lea Michelle want to attempt to do Sweeney Todd are anti-gay. It's just a matter of the fellow being completely wrong for any male role in the show.
I guess my seventeen exclamation points didn't carry the sarcasm across in the way I thought it would.
I literally gagged when I saw Chris Colfer and Sweeney Todd together. Evita? Maybe. Mrs.Lovett? KILL IT WITH FIRE.
Well, as far as her mentioned Broadway-days bad attitude goes, can't it be because of her AGE at that time ??? She was a Broadway STAR at the time of Spring Awakening and she was what, 19-20 ??? People can change, especially at that young age,so why can't we give that benefit of the doubt to her, just cause she is very succesfull ?? All the accounts from Glee, say she is great to work with, all her colleagues love her and she is nothing but gracious and kind to all fans. Maybe she did mature and put that obnoxious past behind her (if it was 100% true).

Well, her Glee co-stars certainly aren't gonna be saying "She's a total bitch," when they're on a talk show... and especially not when they're riding the gravy train.
Unless she gorged herself on humble pie in the last 2-3 years (my stories take place post-Spring Awakening but pre-Glee), I doubt she's changed much.
And for the record, her Spring Awakening co-stars, all in her same age range, are, for the most part, extremely sweet people. John Gallagher, Jr., who has a freakin Tony, is a sweetheart.
There have been gads of stories about her behavior since she started on Glee. The way she's treated fans, photographers (NOT paparazzi) and acted like a diva at photo shoots have been talked about almost since the begining.
Anyone remember that story about how she refused to give an autograph or something to Hailee Steinfeld while Steinfeld was still making True Grit?
