I got tickets for February 24th 2:00PM
I'm in Row H Orc. It's either on the right or left side I don't have the tickets in front of me. How are these seats, will I miss anything? The man at the Box office told me they were full view.

1) That's my birthday!

2) You could have gotten 50% tickets at TKTS. PHANTOM is ALWAYS on TKTS.

"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

None of the seats in the house are full view. Especially Row H Orchestra.

Hey, coolkid11776! I just got tickets to EVITA. If Patti LuPone isn't in does her matinee Eva, Terri Klausner fill in for her also at night performances?

Since you know your sh**it, please advise.

How thrilling, considering it's been running longer than you have been alive....

1 I don't care

2. the show should have closed years ago

3. it sucks and is the perfect example of how something does not have to be good in order to make money.

4. As someone who spent time heckling people on there way into phantom when I was standing in line getting ready to go to Les Miz with my brother. I feel sorry for you espically cus you payed 100 bucks for three hours of SH*T.

enjoy the show !!!

Just go see the damn show... How will knowing what you'd miss from that seat matter if you're going to miss what you're going to be missing anyway? Especially since you've already bought the tickets...

That's ok, you can always sell them back. Well maybe not, but you can give them away (you might have to offer money on top of that, but don't worry too much).

Big deal! I agree with winston89. The show is tired and should have closed years ago.
It's only running because of Lloyd Webber's ego. Why would you spend so much money on it? He's rich enough.

If you must see this dreck, rent the dvd. Even that sucks, considering that the best film version of the story was made in 1925.

There are far better things to see on Broadway than Phantom.

I disagree....when I saw the show again a few months ago, I was surprised how well most of the actors were doing for a Wednesday matinee --- much better than several other long running shows I've viewed again recently....

So if any Phantom cast members are reading this -- someone did appreciate your effort on an under attended Wed mat a few months ago!!!

Hey, the kid is excited about seeing a show. I agree that paying full price for PHANTOM is a bit like paying full price at Macy's, but obviously the show still has enough pull to be playing to profitable houses. And Winston shot his credibility by mentioning he was seeing LES MIS, another old warhorse that is still packing them in.

To each his own, and let Coolkid11776 enjoy his overpriced excitement.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

People are assholes because they are trying to hide the fact that they are snotty theatre dorks with no life - so screw them!

I can't believe there are still people who haven't seen it. But if you haven't, it is a must. It's a classic.

And on this board, long running hit musicals get panned all the time because they are now longer hip and/or trendy in the theatre world. Or, God forbid, AVERAGE people attend them. FOR SHAME!

Have a great time at the show!

At this point, I don't think it matters if you have a full view or not. You already bought the tickets and can't return them, so just enjoy the show.

Put it this way, your seats can't exactly be any worse than sitting in the Balcony (4th tier) at Her Majestys in London.
Just enjoy the show and dont get too bothered if you miss tiny little things.

Just out of curiosity... you're all yelling at him for spending 100 dollars, but... how do you know he didn't print out a discount code and bring it with him?

I mean, I doubt he did... but, you never know.
