Discussing THE GILDED AGE with a friend today, she (maybe jokingly) asked when we’ll get an Audra/Denée PIAZZA and now it’s all I can think about.

Denee would be fab but I can’t stop thinking about how good Emilie Kouatchou would be alongside Audra vocally.

I would pretty much take anyone in The Light in the Piazza.
It has been a favorite of mine since it premiered.

I hate that you’ve put this in my head. I hate this entire thread for giving me dreams I never knew I had.
For what it’s worth, and she has admitted this herself, Denee isn’t a legit soprano and while I’m sure she would sound lovely (she was breathtaking in Comet), I think this would be tough. Who knows. I feel dumb for debating it because 1) fiction and 2) she’s a wonderful actress.
