yeah. its great!
I just finished downloading it...It's great...Can't wait for the movie!
-Nikki Blonsky sounds wonderful.
-I LOVE Michelle Pfeiffer.
-Zac Efron sounds better than that guy they used to dub his voice in High School Musical. Wow, he's actually really good...I'm impressed.
-I'm surprised by how much I'm liking John Travolta.
Damn, the 20th can't get here fast enough...
Too bad you guys are missing out on the bonus DVD exclusives at both Circuit City and Wal-Mart.
I only upload songs TO my iPod -- I don't buy them via iTunes.
Same here, BrodyFosse123. I'm actually heading out to Wal-Mart right now to get it

"Zac Efron sounds better than that guy they used to dub his voice in High School Musical. Wow, he's actually really good...I'm impressed. "
Yeah kinda makes you wonder WHY they dubbed his voice for HSM.
The soundtrack is awesome. Better than I had even hoped.
Wow- the orchestrations are WONDERFUL! It has such a.....groove to it! Nikki's voice seems very...developed. Not sure if I totally like it- maybe it's just the shocking change between her and Marissa J. .
arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh
why is this not available to get from itunes etc here in the UK when the bloody film is released on the same day???
Unless it is and im just to stupid to see it!!
grrrrrrrr (throws hissy fit, then remembers im a grown man grr)
Okay, so I am now seriously mad. I go into Wal-Mart and go back and look for the soundtrack, no where to be found. I go ask the lady that was working the Entertainment section and she goes and looks at the New Release section and the Soundtrack section...not there. She goes "Well, it might come in this afternoon or tomorrow." What I don't get is that aren't their shipments sent in ahead of time. My Wal-Mart is probably the most screwy Wal-Mart that exsists. So, hopefully this afternoon when my mom stops they'll have it. They probably had it, they just didn't feel like unpacking it. And it's the only place around here that sells CDs. Thank the lord Target's opening in a few weeks
Nothing a simple phone call to the store first couldn't remedy.
It'll save you time and the trip IF they haven't received it yet.
Well TWSFan4Ever don't go crazy looking for the WalMart bonus DVD, it's inside like it's a two disc set. Where I was they were saying they didn't get any bonus discs when they were inside the whole time. The Circuit City DVD comes in a regular DVD case separately.
Thanks, amoni. They didn't even have any out. I'd like the bonus DVD, but I mainly want the soundtrack. Hopefully they'll have it this afternoon (I'm having my mom stop and check.)
Ok so I was all excited today to get the Hairspray soundtrack, I went into Bestbuy, it wasn't there. So I came home and tryed to download it from Itunes, could not find it.
Apparantly this isn't available in Canada yet, grrr. Does anyone know when the soundtrack will be available in Canada? I really want to hear it
Thank the Lord! I went to Best Buy and they had it! I can't stop listening to it
Oh man, I Can Wait isn't available on iTunes anymore.
To anyone outside the US, at the bottom of the main page of the music store you can choose a different country's Itunes. Well I can do that on mine at least.
yeah but when is it being released in canada? I can't find it anywhere.. I can't even listen to it on rhapsody
Admitedly, while I had a great time at the stage show (in Seattle), I was not a huge fan of the show (overall) or the Broadway Cast Recording. Still, I wanted to check out the soundtrack. It has TOTALLY changed my mind about this show - it is fantastic. I love the new orchestrations (Cooties is the bomb), the new songs are great, and the cast is so great. Much prefer John to Harvey.........I was so glad they didn't give him low low notes to sing like Harvey. I couldn't STOP listening to this all day, and have listened to Cooties like 200 times, including like 8 in a row at the gym. Fun soundtrack. Great, great, great! No "Big Dollhouse" though - too bad, I love that song.

I am mad. It did not download the Ladie's Choice dance instruction video.
I Can Wait is beautiful, just beautiful. I feel like I need to break out my lighter and sway back and forth.
I wonder if sheet music for the song will be released?
"If we don't live happily ever after at least we survive until the end of the week!" -Kermit the frog "I need the money... it costs a lot to look this cheap!" -Dolly P. "Oh please, Over at 'Gypsy' Patti LuPone hasn't even alienated her first daughter yet!" Mary Testa in "Xanadu" "...Like a drunk Chita Rivera!" Robin de Jesus in "In the Heights"
"B*tch, I don't know your life." -Xanadu After that if he still doesn't understand why you were uncomfortable and are now infuriated, kick him again but this time with Jazz Hands!!! -KillerTofu
Currently #2 on iTunes Soundtrack Charts and #10 on their Top Album Charts.
'Welcome to the 60's' currently the most popular download from the album.
This is exciting - since the movie isn't even out yet. :)
I wouldn't be surprised if it does that good when the put the movie itself on iTunes, if they do.
I'm loving "Welcome To the 60"'s even more than before. How great is Ednas "yodel" of joy and the new verse? "Your Mama's hip, your Mama's in, your Mama's looking at a seven wonder where ya been". Too cool.

I really like the New Girl In Town and Come So Far(Got So Far to Go). I'm kind of mad they took I Can Wait down from itunes though, I really wanted to give it a listen.
